iPhone-o-Gram! Bricks and Squares and Triangles, Oh, My!!

Bricks in the Barnyard is such a fun quilt!!

The blocks are much like log cabin blocks and can be twisted and turned in a multitude of different ways.

We are working on the blocks this morning and this afternoon we will move onto the pioneer braid border! It's like two classes in one!!

Qulters grinning ear to ear means BONNIE arrived lol. I like that block. Scrappy is the only way to go, isn't it. Too much matchy-matchy is so boring ;)

  5. what I'm noticing is the giant big huge room you're in and only a few ladies. Wow, wish I lived in Texas, I would have been crashing this party!

  6. I'm setting units aside for this quilt, too. It's one of my favorites from your two Shirts books. Looks like everyone's having fun!

  7. I love that quilt! I already have a shoe box with some cut-up pieces for it. It would be a great retreat quilt!

  10. I have to say - that looks like a great community room! Looks like a gym, basketball court AND a stage? In our area they keep building schools and adding all kinds of expensive rooms (which I do understand, really!), but then they don't let the community use the rooms - they are for school use only. So, then the community builds a gym, a theater, meeting rooms... just seems more logical for everyone to share the resources! Looks like a fun class - lots of room too! Cheers! Evelyn

  11. I wasn't up to date with you and the blog for months, now you are back in my room and inspiring me. Thank you so much. I have a box that is about14 x 14 that is full of small strips and squares, this looks like a fun, not have to wrestle with project. So wish there were fun things going on around here.
