Any "Virginia Bounders" Out There?

I need some help with some photographs!

If you have made Virginia Bound with fabrics OTHER than recycled plaids, I need you!

I'm looking for quilts in other colorways...batiks maybe? Brights? or a planned color scheme that uses other fabrics making the quilt look a bit different than what is in the book!

I'm teaching in Germany in February....spending time with the Black Forest Quilters in Stuttgart! I'm teaching Virginia Bound, but we wanted to show them what it looks like made from different fabrics, not just plaids. CAN YOU HELP!?

Even if you haven't finished your quilt, can you send pics of your blocks?

Send pics to me at quiltville@gmail.com and include your name and location! We will list you on their info as the maker!

  1. Hmmm, what a great excuse to start a new project. "But, Honey, Bonnie needs me to!" LOL. I think my sister would like that quilt and shes next in line. I'll see what I can do.

  2. Yippie ! I heard rumors about you coming to our guild - but was afraid to believe it. So you're going to visit us, how wonderful! Will have to work on my scrap management till February, so I'll come to class with boxes full of USABLE scraps ;-)) See you next February!!

  3. The one in the photo is wonderful! Love the fabrics, and how it came out.

  4. I have a pile of oriental and batiks I was going to play with...how about some blocks made up into a sofa throw?
