I'm so happy with how this pattern has been received - I love seeing your blocks going up on design walls, seeing your fabric pulls, and hearing the stories of just where those scraps came from and the memories that are surfacing as you sew them up into such a fun (and so easy!) quilt!
And as promised, I'll be choosing TWO winners who will each receive a Maymont PDF pattern AND a Skittles color roll from Cotton to Quilts!
Photographed in front of one of my favorite abandoned places - I hope you have a wonderful time making Maymont your own using up scrap stash and sewing in the memories of where each of those fabrics came from.
Enhance your scrap stash with a pop of color with the Skittles color roll! Hand picked by Irene, each color roll contains 20 different fabrics each measuring approximately 8 1/2 x 21" Fabrics may vary.
Color Rolls are the perfect way to spruce up your scrap stash, giving your saved scraps new life as you pair them with something fun.
Who are our winners? We've got 8238 entries! Let's fire up the random number generator:

Okay - now that all that stuff is out of the way - how about a visit into yesterday's goings on at Quiltville Inn?
We have a top finish!
Look how gorgeous in Kaffe fabrics!
These beauties were stitched by Joanne!
I love where this one is going.
Not your grandmother's drunkard's path!
I love the neutrals as background!
I also spy a Bitcoin under way!
And there is a bake off happening in the kitchen!
I swear, every time I walk through the front door there are more yummy smells coming from the oven. Fantastic!
Can't you almost TASTE this delicious loaf of sourdough bread? Hear the crunch of that yummy chewy crust?
Pass the butter please - yum!
The rain continued to come in spurts - I took some time for a haircut yesterday, and when i returned - this is how our lovely rhododendron looked:
Oh, Rhodie! You gave us your all!
This makes me so sad!
Why does it make me so sad? I don't know. I'm just emotional these days. If it weren't for the pounding rain and gusting winds we may have had another week to enjoy these blossoms, but now we'll just clean up the mess and wait for next year.
I am hoping for lovely sunshine over the weekend as I'd really like to get the dogs - and the quilty folk - out for some walking.
It will be way too muddy to go see the ponies up at the park, but there are a couple of nice road hikes we can do where the gravel roads will drain the water and keep us out of the mud.
And I'm really really READY for some machine piecing time.
What's in store for your weekend ahead?
I find this to be so unbelievably and amazingly true.
Following my passion has been the most amazing journey!

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

Thank you so much for the wonderful scrappy quilt patterns. I'm working my way though 2 others at this time, but took advantage of the Maymont discount to add it to my plans.
Congratulations to the winners.
I have to cut out 550 pieces for a quilt I promised for my daughter. I'll show it after the top is done. Right now I am taking a short break.
