When she asked me to participate in her blog hop, I jumped in whole-heartedly. We’ve been friends-of-friends for years, and we really do have so much in common. I told her “Absolutely! We are *Cut from the same cloth!*” and it’s true. And I think she is absolutely scrappy crumby lovely!
In describing her book, Victoria states:
My goal for the book is to show you how my process and my inspiration is born; how to find your creative flow, keep it and let it SOAR! Giving you confidence to try new things, look at your fabrics in a different light, and build quilts that are unique to you! Also, to provide you with OODLES of inspiration and eye candy to get your JOURNEY ready to create! Building your TOOL BOX of techniques to make you a better quilter, each and every time you set about making a new quilt.
When I received my copy of her book, I was drawn in right away by the colors ---color is the one thing that drives me as a quilter. I love color, and lots of it!
But inside, I learned of Victoria’s relationship with her grandmother – an avid scrap quilter, and her story pulled me in. I learned where Victoria found her love of scraps and her passion for quilting – her grandmother!
In this book you will find:
Victoria’s Giant Hexagon!
Giant Whirlygigs!
Mod Strips!

Opens new doors for me and gives me new inspiration.
Greetings from Maple Ridge BC
Like the 15 minutes of play with crumbs
and enjoying the blog hop.
The scrappy hexagon quilt is calling my name. I see inspiration for making 19 great grandchildren quilts. Thank you for chance to win this book.

These quilts look like SEW much fun. I think I just registered as open ID....time will tell.
I would love to win this! Thanks for all you do Bonnie to encourage us to be comfortable being scrappy!.
Victoria's website is always inspiring. I can't wait to try out some of the ideas in her book.
Went to some Hexie "sisters"? websites and saw the neatest little purse for which the pattern was a giveaway a year ago or so. Rats, my history was turned off and now I cannot find it again, or the hexies websites (blogs?)... Grandmother's Flower Garden was my first quilt, all by hand, drew the seam lines for the whole thing. Guess I need to learn the "new" way to do hexies..8^) Lavinia/AZ
Love Victoria's book. Thanks Bonnie for the chance to win! I am just getting into scrap quilts, and this book would be a great help.
What an interesting sounding book and I would love to win it!! I will enjoy reading each day on the blog hop. I love to read about all these different quilters that sign onto these blog hops.
Looks like a fun book.
Hi, Bonnie - someone on the Sunshine list referred us to the Bumblebeans blog to look at the 'crumb' piecing, so I'm especially happy that the book is out now. Wow, would I love a copy, and I thank you for having the drawing for one.

That looks like an amazing scrappy-quilt book. Kinda' like a Bonnie Hunter style. My imagination is both piqued and freaked. Whoever thought of a pieced crumb hexagon? Cute!
This looks like an interesting book. Thanks for the chance to win a copy.
Hi Bonnie, I like Victoria´s work, she has something similar with you, she can use all fabric she has. And likes colors. As I do. I love both of you.
I am desperately trying to tame my scraps, strips and once loved small pieces of fabric. I would love to win Victoria's book and have my quilts "resemble" her lovlies!!!
I love her happy scrappy quilts! Thanks for sharing!

What must i say after 429 comments. Everything has been say. I like the picture of the great victoria hexagon. And i have a lot of scraps. This book isn't to buy here in Holland even a lot of your books Bonnie. And I like them so.The books insperate me. Maybe i can win at this time a book.
Sorry for my bad Englisch.... Here is the dutch comment.
What can i say after so much comments. everything is said. The book look great. I like scraps and hexagons. I want to have this book. This book and your books aren't to buy in The Netherlands. And I like them to much. I trey it on this way to get one of the books.
I love books that teach me things I'm not good at. Improv piecing is something I love to look at, but my OCD nature just doesn't want to play along thus far.
I would love to win a copy of this book! Thanks for the opportunity!!!
The images you have shared with us are very inspirational. I feel sure this book would be a useful and enjoyable addition to my night table and sewing room.
This looks like a fabulous book, and one I would love to have in my library.
Thank you for this great giveaway as would love to win a copy of Victoria's 15 minutes of Play. I know that using this book would help me get over the fear of messing up, as do want to be more improvisational in my quilting (even if I'm not spontaneous). I had just read your first post about antique quilts, and am sorry to hear about your friend's passing. I too think she would like you to finish the sequence about her life's collection.
Looks like Bonnie (and me!) have a scrappy sister! Would love to have this book to add to the scrappy ideas. Thanks, Carol in Arkansas
Ohhh, more scrappiness. LOVE it. Thanks to you both for the inspiration! Collette in CA

Sounds like this is a very freeing and inspiring book, just what I need to get me out of my "it has to be perfect, and it isn't" rut! I would love to win! I have never won anything, and this would be a fun place to start my winning streak - first with the book, then with the quilts!
Thanks for the giveaway!

This book looks like too much fun. I can see it as a starting point for some group challenges.
These kind of blog posts have so many comments that I can't even load them all. Which means I don't even know if my comment posts. Here goes.
I love encouraging the self-proclaimed "not creative" people to loosen their garters and let their scraps hang out! This may help.

I so hope I win a copy of Victoria's book. She herself exudes inspiration but to have all that energy put into words and pictures has to be something pretty darn great. Thanks Bonnie for a chance to win Victoria's book and for your thoughts.

I saw this book a few weeks ago and thought "How Fun!"...would love a couple to help me get thru my scraps!
Bonnie, your use of scraps has opened up a completely new, exciting avenue of inspiration. Thankfully, I have been able to orangize my scraps and have begun to think outside the box. Thank you for sharing your ideas and tutorials. This new book 15 minutes of fun should complement your ideas. It is fun to create new fabric and use color to add visual interest! Piecefully yours, Kay Carlson
I admire Victoria's quilts, and I am sure that her book is inspirational!
Using your Scrap Users System has provided me with so many crumbs and strings that I need to make use of them now. This book is the most welcome help to do it (besides your awsome patterns and instructions of course!).
Love he concept for this book. I've already got ideas brewing for next year by playing with my fabrics for a few minutes a day.
