Winner, March Quilty Box!

It’s drawing time for our fantabulous March QUILTY BOX!

This one is full of such gorgeous fabric, I have already removed the paper wrapper from mine and have thumbed through and petted and have already pulled some of the colors to use in current projects.

I LOVE tone-on-tone types of prints and these Sun Print 2017 fabrics by Alison Glass for Andover are marvelous.

All the colors of the rainbow!

Someone is winning this whole rainbow-palooza!

Along with the 10” square pack is apattern booklet for making your own Sun Print patchwork Quilt by Alison Glass and -

Two spools of Aurifloss from the Alison Glass collection: Aurifloss is perfectly suited for stitching on all types of fabric and is made with 100% long staple cotton.  A brilliant 6-strand divisible thread that may be used as is, or one or more strands may be separated to create thread of various thicknesses. These colors are hand selected to coordinate with the Sun Print collections.

Olfa touch Knife: Once you use this Olfa knife, you’ll see why it’s called “The handiest little knife in the world.” The knife is portable and fits perfectly in your sewing bag.  It features a secure blade lock and a hanging hole can slide onto your key-chain.

Shall we draw?

The Easy Center Square ruler is in house!

***UPDATE!!!****  WE ARE SOLD OUT!!

It only took 30 minutes, and all 94 are GONE!

The very hard to find Easy Center Square Ruler by Sharon Hultgren is available in the Quiltville Store in a very limited supply.

This is the ruler I use to easily cut the sizes of squares needed for Square in a Square units instead of having to measure everything in 1/8's or 1/16's. Units finish on the inch from 2" up to 8".
Use the lines on the ruler to first cut the strip width you need, and the square lines to sub-cut your strips.

I demo'd the use of this ruler during a recent Quilt-Cam HERE.

These rulers are new, un-wrapped and come directly to me from Sharon.

Instructions for the rulers will come in a PDF file to your email upon purchase and include a chart for cutting the corner triangles with either regular rotary cutting, or easily and quickly from strips using the Essential Triangle Tool.

The Easy Center Square rulers are limited to stock on hand, and I don't know if I will be able to get more!

Also NEW in the store!

Put your fabric bits and pieces to spectacular use with this well-curated collection of quilts. Cut from your stash or play with pre-cut strips and squares, fat quarters, and fat eighths as you enjoy a tremendous variety of patterns from well-known designers.

77 delightful projects--including Civil War, 1930s, modern, traditional, and country designs--at less than 40 cents a pattern Selected patterns from popular Martingale books by Kim Brackett, Lynn Roddy Brown, Kay Connors and Karen Earlywine, Kim Diehl, Amy Ellis, Mary Etherington and Connie Tesene of Country Threads, Joanna Figueroa, and many more Quilts range in size from 28in x 36in to 99in square and feature everything from simple patchwork to cotton and wool applique to strip piecing. 288 pages and weighs 2.75 pounds!

Many of these projects work with Scrap User’s System sizes and all of the triangles and flying geese and hour glass type units can be easily made using the Essential Triangle Tool if you know how to convert from regular rotary cutting math (or going big to sliver trim down) to working with the ruler.  Save time, save fabric, save your sanity!

Back in stock!

This one sold out so quickly, and we’ve been waiting for it to come back in stock.

From playful to precious this collection of mini quilt patterns is designed to inspire quilters of all ages.

An accomplished quilt and fabric designer, Edyta Sitar explores a myriad of tiny creations, pondering and playing with her favorite scraps until a quilt is born.

It’s your turn to take inspiration from these tiny treasures and discover the magic of miniature quilts.

And for those of you who feel like you have been waiting FOREVER (And you have!) -

3in1colortool

The 3-in-1 Color Tool that we used for our En Provence mystery is ALSO back in stock after waiting quite a while for more to be printed.

You will find it HERE.

Don’t forget the deep discounts in the Book Sale category of the Quiltville Store, as well as the NEW to see what is available. Scraps & Shirttails & Scraps & Shirttails II are both on sale for $19.99 each.

Rumor has it that there is ONE copy of String Fling in the Scratch & Dent category that is only there because the title page has a couple of minor wrinkles.  First come, first serve on that one – it’s the only one!

I spent today cleaning out the stock room to make better space for these new items coming in.  Tomorrow I am headed back to the cabin to meet with the gas guys for hooking up of the propane.

That means that any orders placed tonight, tomorrow, or over the weekend will be filled and shipped Monday/Tuesday as I leave for Birmingham, Alabama on Wednesday.

Have a wonderful evening, everyone!

Rats. I sure wanted one of those rulers. I am thinking that Deb Tucker's Squared2 ruler does the same thing? I may try and get one of those.
Hope you are feeling better after the shock of surgery. Even so called minor surgeries cause upsets to the body. Hope you continue to rest over the week end.

Ok I need some help. How did I miss the ruler. I open this blog every morning the minute my feet hit the floor...watching for the ruler announcement. Obviously, this isn't the right place. Could someone please tell me where I should have been watching. Is it an automatic feed each day? Help before I miss something else wonderful, please.

Let us know when the next Ruler order comes out. Wow that was fast. With more than 5000 entries for the Give Away you know you would have plenty to make your OWN ruler. You go girl!
