Which reminds me…I need to cut some more red hexies before I leave for Dallas/Fort Worth in the morning!
I’ll add that on to the “to do” list and keep moving on!

What an awesome show of community spirit! I’m sure these quilts will really bring a lot of happiness and warmth this winter!
Today for Quilt-Cam I’m plugging along on the nagging cheddar sampler UFO!
I’ve set up Morris the Morse for sewing!
I’ve cut out my block parts – only 4 blocks to go until I can call the blocks DONE and then finish up on those square in a square cornerstones and set the top together. Long enough is long enough on this thing, don’t you think?

I just finished putting the borders on my 3rd Sister's Choice quilt. Two are for sisters who my son drives to the renal center and the 3rd is for our local nursing home. This afternoon I will be cutting more 2 1/2" squares so I can make a dancing nine patch

I'm doing the quilting on a Thanksgiving tablerunner, I've given myself a deadline of this weekend to finish it completely. It's fun to listen to quilt cam as I sew. I'm ready for the Celtic Solstice, too. Now to gather the fabrics for the class in Plano at the end of December. These 2 projects will be my first Bonnie Hunter patterns and I am excited!

Hi, Bonnie! SOOO nice to see a spontaneous quilt cam. I just fortunately happened to be on your page (looking for your instructions on bow tie blocks). I am currently working on a pieced quilt back. Do you have any tips to share or a method to your "madness"?? I love pieced backs, but do find they can be more difficult than the pieced front. Thanks! Tracey

Stopped after work last night to pick up a few groceries. Checked the quilting section of the magazines and was pleased to find 100 blocks version 8. So for those not counting on winning a drawing, they might find one now at their favorite store for picking up these things. This was a store that is owned by Kroger, but I don't know if that's why it was out already. Good luck to everyone!

So glad to see you live on QuiltCam! I'm working on a community service quilt for our guild.
Question: do you have any idea where I can find plaid velvet? I am looking for about 1/3 - 1/2 yard piece of dark navy base fabric with green, maroon, red,and gold,stripes for the plaid to repair a crazy quilt that is about 60 years old. I've been searching the internet but no luck. Maybe I will need to deconstruct clothing - but haven't found anything similar. I'm looking through the scrap bin in preparation for Celtic Solstice. As I dig through, I see fabric for quilts that I made, (or at least started), years ago! Apparently I have a thing for grey-blues and gray-greens...exactly what I don't need. Oh well. There's always my stash!
I'm also gathering all the materials for your visit to Fabric Fanatics in Plano, I can't wait to see what you have in store for us!

First time I've actually been on quilt cam while you are live. Enjoying it and hope to get sewing soon. We just got home from our trip yesterday and I'm not quite set up for sewing yet. But love seeing what you are doing.

I, too, am working on four more blocks for a top! It's Pineapple Blossom from your workshop here in Illinois last May. A question on the cornerstones for this one - should they match the lights that make the triangles, or the darks (or in my case BRIGHTS) that make up the rectangles? I know the sashing strips should be the brights, but wasn't sure about the cornerstones. Many thanks!
The roasted vegetables are the bomb. We love them here. I also have made a brocolli and cauliflower gratin that everyone in our family loves.

Cornmeal rolls! In fact, my brothers ask me to make them all the time...now that our parents are gone...they are our comfort food!

Working on Lazy Sunday Morning. Decided at the last minute to make it a square quilt, as I don't have a bed the size to fit the smaller quilt. Need to get this done to prepare for the Celtic Solstice. I have my paint swatches but have not pulled any fabrics.
I keep trying to watch today and am having internet connecting problems. I have to keep re-starting the Feed. Such a bummer! Working on Border units for my Midnight Flight!!! Decisions, decisions. I 'm not doing the one on the pattern. I have extra 4-patches so I wanted to use those. Thank you for QuiltCam on a Saturday!

I think you should call that machine Inspector Morse after the BBC series Inspector Morse played by John Thaw. It is blue just like his eyes! Love the quilt cam. I never seem to get to watch live, but it is fun after the fact.
My first live Quilt Cam and my PC ran out of juice --- loved sewing with you.
Watching QuiltCam a bit after the fact, but still fun! Our family has a Thanksgiving tradition I wanted to share with you. My mother has always made our turkey with Mogan David Grape Concord (or any grape concord) wine. It makes the house smell AMAZING and makes a terrific gravy. I hate Thanksgiving elsewhere because it just isn't right without our wine gravy! You will always remember the year your dad came and you made him special dishes--share pics on the blog of your spread when the time comes! :)
What is a thread server? The plastic coin holder with the three holes drilled in the lid? I put in 3 bobbins of thread and threaded them through the holes. Ta dah.
Oh--I may have told you this before but I bought a Nesco oven (from QVC) and we make the turkey right in it (freeing up the oven for other goodies) and then I make the gravy in it and afterwards plop the carcass back in it with the gravy that didn't scrape off and cover with water...then I make turkey soup! :) EASY PEASY!
