It's Talkin' Turkey day here at Block Party in Portland, OR!
A bit cloudy, but that hasn't deterred the fishing boats making their way down river!
String piecing our way through the large triangles that frame the center mine patch of our blocks this morning and we will move on to flying geese this afternoon.
Are you sewing today too??
Karen wins the prize for dressing to match her project!!
Love from Portland!

Looks like everyone is having a good time. We are having wonderful sunshine in Cougar which is about 75 minutes away from you. Hope you are having the same. Friday is my day to teach organic gardening at the local grade school and that takes most of my day. This evening, however, I will be back at the sewing machine piecing my wonky patches for a gift quilt. Love this pattern and it uses up so many of my larger leftover pieces.
Love the little red wagon. Never saw one made from canvas. Really cool. No sewing today. Am burned out from the 64 items I made for grandchild #3 due on March 29th. Tomorrow for sure. I had to put Easy Street on hold in a secure location. Now I have to find that location! LOL! Miss you Ms Bonnie!!!
How fun !!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the Talkin' Turkey block. If it is possible to have a favorite Bonnie block this one is it. I can't wait to see the slideshow or pics from this workshop :) I am at work for a few more hours and am green with envy of those ladies so pictures will help--lol!
Kicking myself still......for several reasons! The three quilts you are doing this week are some of my very favorites! Great pictures! Hope you are catching the scattered dry spells we are having in the Rose City!
