iPhone-o-Gram! Hello, Augusta!

I'm here in Augusta with Siobhan and her Scottie, Mac!

We've got a fun evening ahead with talk of antique quilts, vintage fabrics, current projects and everything else we can think of!

Chinese take out has been ordered and we are out walking Mac before darkness falls and we stay in and stay warm.

I've got cheddar bow-ties to bind while we watch the election results roll in.

It's a great evening to spend with a friend I don't see often enough!

Sounds like you are planning on a really nice evening with a friend. I lived in Augusta for a while when I was in the Army. Went through the Signal School there. I just loved the surrounding area. So many beautiful houses to look at. Have a good time!

Oh, what a cute Scottie! LOVE that breed! Give him a few scritches from me. I lost my Scottie 5 years ago and it has been so hard without her.

Hi Bonnie,
It sounds cozy and fun. I don't know if you want more of this type of information, but there is a link on the NYC Metro Mod Quilters blog today regarding donation quilts for victims of Sandy. The address is nycmetromodquilters.blogspot.com

I am always in awe of how fast you work, Bonnie. Seems like the cheddar bow ties were just a pile of blocks a few days ago, and then suddenly a center being surrounded by 2" squares, and now you are binding it! Have a great time!

Chinesse must be in the air, my daughters birthday is today and that is what she wanted, so we did chinesse takeout too!

Bonnie:

Thank you so much for telling us on quilt cam last night about the importance of the ads not only on your quilt cam but, also on your blog. I read them at times and have even ordered from them. I didn't realize how important the ads were and I hope I wasn't the only one who didn't know about that was how you made your money to live on. Thank you for everything you do. I never had any other blogger take the time to explain to me (us) before. It just never occurred to me.

Interesting post. I didn't hear the story about the ads and wish I got the skinny on that. I've been wondering how that works too. I probably had an ad running, instead of Bonnie, when she was explaining about the importance of ads. :D
