Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas!

If you’ve just arrived looking for Part 6, you are a day late!  I posted it yesterday as a sneaky Merry Christmas, to everyone.  You can find it HERE!

This little video is one I have to play EVERY Christmas….I just LOVE this, and the original version is always the best.

I hope that your holidays are filled with family, friendship, love and laughter – and of course great food!  And maybe some stitching, or not –But whatever you get up to, MAKE some  wonderful Memories to last a life time!

Lots of love from the Basement --

HaHa....I have to tell you...when I read this, I misread the final sentence because of the way the video has shifted the last couple of words.

What I saw was .....But whatever you get up to, MAKE Lots of love from the Basement !!!

Sounds like good advice anyway!! :)
Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, Bonnie! I have a free ebook for you!!! "The Sister Mafia" by Jeff Hagkull. Jeff is my cousin and this book is loosely (or maybe not so loosely) based on his Mom and her sisters, including my Mom!!
Patty, Mildred, Barb, and Margaret live in Turtle, Minnesota, where women of a certain age believe that grandchildren are as much a right as high school hockey and a good pair of scissors. Patty’s sisters are grandmothers fifty-one times over, but her own sons have disappointed. Jonathan, six barren years of marriage behind him, clearly has the “privates problems.” While Christopher is shackled to a baby-hating girlfriend. Is it any wonder Patty indulges in the occasional gin and tonic?

So when the sisters discover that Christopher and the baby-hater have split, they decide it’s high time to unleash “Operation Ironing”--a plan designed to find him a proper (and fertile) wife. Their ensuing adventures are part comedy of errors, part generation gap, and constantly fun."

OH Bonnie, you got me to laugh before 10:00! Those guys are incredible! And so are you! I was so impressed by your MADE FROM SCRATCH cookies! I resorted to frozen pre-sliced cookie slabs last night, so you hold your head up high and don't let any nay-sayers cast aspersions on your drop cookies! Love you for all you bring us day in and day out, Merry Christmas. Christy Horton

Merry Christmas Bonnie to you and yours. Thanks so much for the year of blogs I read and enjoy every single morning. Reviewed my quilt photo files last night and several of my very favorite quilts are from your blogs and instructions. Stephani in TX (Tomazec@aol.com)

Thank you, Bonnie, for that last sentence: "make some wonderful memories to last a life time" It means more to me than you can ever know. Have a wonderful Christmas yourself.

Bonnie - Another great Christmas music video is Merry Christmas from the Family by Robert Earl Keen. You'll love it (and the tune is one that will stay in your head all day - I know you'll love that)!

I LOVE Straight No Chaser! My family always sings the 12 days of Christmas at our Christmas White Elephant parties. It just cracks me up to hear SNC's version. I have their Christmas CDs and they are by far, my favorite.
Much love to you, BOnnie. Thanks for all the gifts you give us.
