Some of you have found this already and have been asking me about it so let's just put it all out there, shall we??
I was contacted by my publishers at C&T and asked if we could do a "Greatest Hits" kind of book together containing 30 of my favorite quilts from my previous publications.
Scrap-Savvy Quilting has 30 quilts from all of my previously released books all in one volume - and it's hard cover!
My author's copy came just before I left for Idaho and yesterday I had a zoom meeting with my marketing team so we can get this ball rolling.
Those of you who have followed me and encouraged me from the beginning and already have ALL of my books? You might not need this - but there are new quilters coming up all the time and this puts these fun and scrappy designs back into the forefront.
Have a friend who is new to scrap quilting? This would be a great gift to get them started down their own scrappy path.
30 patterns in one hard bound book? Fantastic!
My paper back books had 12 patterns each. This price point is great.
I had a really fun day with the photographers who came out for our photo shoot for the book covers.
Yes, that's my quilt Blue Skies hanging over the back porch rail at Quiltville Inn!
So much has changed in my life from when I was just a baby author. I'm glad that they wanted to share a bit of my life now as an innkeeper.
They did such a great job on this book layout!
I love this photo!
Sneak peek of what's included -
If you are interested in patterns that are NOT in this book, My other titles are still available through the Quiltville Store.
Scrap-Savvy is available for pre-order NOW on the C&T website. It releases in July.
It will also be available as a digital book at that time.
Yes, it will be on Amazon and through your other favorite retailers.
And my hope is that you will encourage your local shops to get it in store and on their shelves.
As this is a hard bound book with sharp corners, it can't safely ship in a priority mail envelope - it requires boxing and taping and the postal rates are more. I will not be shipping this book through the Quiltville Store, but instead placing a link in the store for folks to order directly from C&T.
I WILL have copies on hand here for retreaters (And those that want to stop by) to purchase a signed copy but I will not be shipping them.
Thanks for understanding!
It's been a lot. It's been hard to keep quiet about it. I'm glad that the cat is now out of the bag!
And we can get back to yesterday's doings:
I'm going to try to continue that here at least in the morning and after dinner. (Yes, I did get my evening down-and-up in there too before TV watching. Whew!)
This driveway is way steeper, but I think I can get this in rather than set aside nearly half an afternoon to do a two and a half mile loop a half hour away at the park.
Wish me luck!
This morning I've got a blood draw to check my A1C but before I drive off for that, I'll take a trip up and down the drive. It's currently 38 degrees. Where did spring go?
I actually sat at my machine yesterday!
It had been about 10 days since I'd sewn anything - this felt really good.
I need so many more of these I'm not even counting right now. Just sewing. No deadline, no push, just settling in and enjoying the addition of each piece.
It's Mother's Day week!
(Or what's left of it...)
After spending time with my mom and my aunts and getting to see my son in the process, I've placed all Digital patterns in the Quiltville Store 25% off with no coupon needed.
We won't have another "all patterns" sale until Thanksgiving, so now is your chance to grab all the things!
This sale expires at 11:30pm Eastern time on Sunday.
This came up in my Facebook memories from 7 years ago. I was just getting started on my Cabin Corners blocks! If you are looking for a paper piecing project to work on while awaiting some of my up and coming releases - this is a great one, and it's on sale this week!
Time is running out on reserving your spot to our India Adventure happening in September!
I'd love to have you join me - so many colorful memories to be bade!
Click HERE for more info. Let's go together!
My kind of crazy may be different from your kind of crazy, but that's what makes life beautiful!
Happy Friday, everyone!
