Rododendron Trail & Cabin Corners Gift-Away!

It's mid-February!  And you know what that means?

Rhododendron Trail has been retired from the blog, has been completely unscrambled and rewritten into PDF Pattern Booklet Format and is available for download in the digital pattern section of the Quiltville Store!

I've kept all of the hints, tips, tricks and optional methods in - the full 8 week run of instruction is now in an easier to read and understand format!

I absolutely loved our time together this past winter.  So many beautiful quilts are already completed, or nearing completion. (Just wait until tomorrow's show & Share from the February Quiltvillians!)

I will continue watching your quilts come together and cheer you on the whole way!

I've heard from so many of you who have loved the slower pace we've taken this year, even making blocks along the way so you could see how things were coming together.

I loved it too!  Even this old dog can learn some new tricks and different ways of doing things to keep the fun going.

To make this mid-month pattern release day even more exciting -

I know you've been waiting for this one!

Cabin Corners is also available!!

Sew Many Scraps!

Wondering what to do with all of those precious small saved pieces?

Stitch up a riot of rainbow color accented with red and give it all (including the kitchen sink) a fabulous place to land!

This is a foundation paper pieced pattern with 16 pages of full instruction, and many full color photos to help you on your way to sewing up the scrap stash.

Quilt Size: 84’’ X 96’’

You watched me sewing this all up over many months.

Everything went in - and I LOVE the result!

The introductory price for Cabin Corners And Rhododendron Trail have been placed 25% off at $9.00 through February 28, 2022.  No coupon code needed.

As Cabin Corners is paper foundation pieced.  I have used Carol Doak's 8 1/2'' X 11'' Foundation Paper with much success.  It is available in the Rulers, Notions & Tools section of the Quiltville Store. (Limited supply)

You can also find it in the Quilting All the Time category of the Quiltville Amazon Affiliate Store  Direct link HERE.

You can also use 8 1/2'' x 11'' newsprint, though it doesn't like some printers. (I get jams occasionally on mine)  It is also available HERE.

If this is your first time downloading digital patterns from my store to a computer click HERE.

If you intend to download to an iPhone/iPad click HERE.

Not only can you purchase Cabin Corners & Rhododendron Trail on sale separately, but it's even a sweeter deal with more savings if you purchase them both together in the Rhododendron Trail Cabin Corners Bundle!

The bundle is a limited time offer only available through 2/28/22 so hurry!

And YES!  We are having a Gift-Away!

I'll be drawing for 2 winners who will each receive that Rhododendron Trail Cabin Corners Bundle AND a Color Aplenty fabric roll from Cotton to Quilts!

Color Aplenty is the perfect addition to perk up your scrap stash, including some gorgeous reds for the accent pieces in Cabin Corners.

Aren't these fun!

Yes, neutral rolls and other color varieties are available too.  Check out the Jumble of Color, and This & That rolls while perusing all that is available!

Okay, let's do this.

We'll draw for our two winners on Saturday, February 26, 2022.

Winners must have fabric prize shipped to a USA address.  If you are outside of the USA, you can have the fabric shipped to a friend within the USA who can then forward it on to you.

The February Quiltvillians are packing up and heading out today - it's been a wonderful week and I have more photos to share with you in tomorrow's post!

It's a laundry day for me - and I'm hoping to share a bit more of what's been under my needle over the past while!

What projects have you got in store for today?

Today is more hand quilting. I few days ago I received my order from the Stencil Company that I read on a earlier blog from you. Love the selection I purchased and now on to finish while watching the Olympics. Thanks so much for you.Today will be the birth of my 10th grandchild, so exciting.

I just agreed yesterday to buy a used computerized midarm, so today is dedicated to cleaning up the space for it and prepping my non-computerized set up for listing for sale. I have found that the actual quilting process is just not my favorite part of making a quilt. I'm not positive what I have gotten myself into but I hope this will help me turn my tops into quilts.

The Next block in the 2022 Riley Blake sew along released today so I plan on working on that. Lots of tiny pieces. Using it as practice before I attempt one of your quilts :) . Havent decided which one yet.
