We had the most glorious of October days yesterday at Quiltville Inn!
The ladies continued to work on their Straits of Mackinac blocks and units, but the pull of the OUTSIDE was strong!
Just LOOK at this display over the rails - fantastic!
In fact, it was so beautiful that we even had a car stop, pull into the parking lot behind the QPO (where I am standing to take this photo) and ask if these quilts were for sale, and just what was going on here. LOL!
I mean, who could blame them?!
I spy En Provence, our Unity Quilt, Allietare and Frolic amongst some gorgeous others here!
Check out that medallion!
I know it is a guild's raffle quilt specifically brought to have photos taken over the rail at Quiltville Inn. So cool! And many others I don't know by name.
Razzle Dazzle (In line up to be released!) and Mai Tais in Paradise from the Addicted to Scraps book. I don’t know the source of the heart quilt, but I love it! So cozy for fall. Another Unity quilt in gorgeous colors, and Allietare!
Grassy Creek, another gorgeous medallion, and Scrappy Bargello from the Free Patterns tab!
Irene has been a fantastic group mom - and her meals were phenomenal!
That's right - if you want a retreat where meals are prepared (light lunches, fabulous dinners - you just bring your own bagels yogurt or fruit or what have you for your breakfasts) be watching for Irene's next Sewciologists retreat to happen in June.
To get on her mailing/waiting list contact Cotton To Quilts HERE.
Straits of Mackinac blocks in shades of blue to berry!
Light blue to navy!
I loved listening and partaking in much conversation with these gals!
Fantastic!
Blocks minus sashing.
Wow! Just wow!
And a Punkin Patch finish from String Frenzy in the nick of time!
And yes, the pattern for my Punkin Patch Runner is still on sale for only $5.00 through October!
Last night around the fire pit.
Such a great way to end our time together!
Travel home safely everyone! I'll see you same time next year!
As I send this off, cars are being packed, and folks are pulling away - much hugs and "talk to you soon!" going around.
There's a busy day ahead, starting with 12 loads of laundry and everything that goes into being ready for our next group, The Muddy Creek Misfits, arriving tomorrow afternoon!
What does your Tuesday look like?

The heart quilt looks like a Buggy Barn pattern.
I love seeing all your pattern coming together, I bet it warms your heart as well. Seeing these posts just keeps me inspired to sew daily, and look forward to the day I can come visit and retreat myself!

I would sure buy a ticket or five for that Raffle Medallion, if someone were to post the specifics :-).
I love it when you do the quilts over the rail. The colors are great.
The Quilts over the rail are fantastic and so inspiring.
Me too. I always love buying raffle tickets for guild quilts. This helps bring great programs to our guilds. Betty in Massachusetts
Wonderful Quilts over the rail. My Allitare is on my bed this fall. Beautiful and just the right size for it. Love seeing the variety of quilts they bring. Happy Laundry Day. Quilt GUild tonight. I made 3 Lotto Blocks, wish me luck.
Beautiful quilts! And the progress on the Straits of Mackinac blocks is great. The one with orange is stunning. (they all are--I just love orange)
