New PDF Pattern - Pine Tree Point!

There is a new bit of fun this week in the Quiltville Store!  Say hello to Pine Tree Point!

I know you have been eager to see just where the green strings were going to end up over the past few weeks - I've been BUSY behind the scenes!

I have been sewing up the proverbial storm while I watch the seasons change around me.

These two projects are inspired by the multitude of Christmas tree trucks passing by Quiltville Inn on a daily basis these days - Tree harvest is in full swing, and it is marvelous to see!

This one in lap size -

And this one in table runner size - all in one pattern!

Runner 22’’ x 54 1/2’’

Gather up your green and aqua scraps, make much merry with delightful string pieced pines! Quilt: 48 1/2’’ x 59.’’

Who says you have to stop at lap size?

My recipe for success with the greens is to combine a good variety of yellow-green and blue-green and brighten the whole mix up by adding a few dashes of aqua here and there.

I can hardly wait to see what you do with this one!

You’ll find the PDF pattern for Pine Tree Point, including both the lap size and the runner in the Digital Patterns section of the Quiltville Store.

I have set the price at 25% off - no coupon needed! (On sale for $9.00, regularly $12.00) This sale price is good through Saturday, November 21, 2020 only - so hurry!

This should give you some fun stuff to work on while we wait for the first clue of our Grassy Creek Mystery to drop on November 27th!

I want to share with you my new favorite organizer!

You know how finding things that were not originally designated to be QUILTING SUPPLIES gets you all excited when you find you CAN use it for quilting??

This is the Mollie Ollie Premium Baby Diaper Caddy Organizer.  It was also listed as a car seat organizer - but can you see what it can do for your quilting space?  Especially if you are headed on retreat?

  • Caddy is made of premium quality heavy-duty felt, reinforced base and enhanced stitching on the handles that can carry up to 50 pounds of weight. Extra sturdy construction ensures the caddy stays in shape even when it’s empty.
  • EASY MAINTENANCE – Polyester lining gives a smooth and resilient interior that is easy to clean, giving you a peace of mind to store away essentials.
  • LIGHTWEIGHT & VERSATILE – 14.5” x 9.5” x 7” with 2 removable dividers. Transform it to a portable changing or nursing station, road trip organizer, arts & crafts tote, yarn & knitting supplies basket, and more! Simply fold down to bring on trips in the car a or luggage.
  • THERE’S A PLACE FOR EVERYTHING! – 8 pockets of various sizes including a zipper compartment with 5 elastic loops for easy access and smart organization.

So much room!

And I love the zippered pocket!

There are pockets on all 4 sides.  And the center divider is held in with Velcro so you can remove it into one big bin space if you need.

What a great gift - for yourself or a quilting friend!

I travel with projects back and forth from the cabin to the QPO nearly every day - block parts, fabrics, tools, rulers, the works.  This ensures that I keep it all together when I am moving between two places.

I have added the Mollie Ollie caddy to the Quilting All the Time category of the Quiltville Amazon Affiliate Store

Here is the Direct Link

And you can save 10% by using coupon code 10quiltville on the checkout page.

This code is only good for 2 weeks from today - so count up the number of quilty friends you need to send gifts to this year, and let PRIME do the shipping for you!

So here we are at Monday - a brand new week is just beginning.

I LOVED my #mediafreesunday yesterday.  I got so much done, and I can't wait to show you what is also in the works.  Photos tomorrow - I promise.

I need to tackle the mail order this morning and get some other things in line for our first Grassy Creek mystery clue coming up so soon.  Are you excited?

For those who have been waiting - I did receive more of the Simple Folded Corners ruler and Simple Folded Corners Mini . Either one will work for our mystery, and it is also a valuable tool when making Pine Tree Point.

Anything fun in your line up for today?

Quiltville Quote of the Day -

What are your choices being put into play this week?

Be sure to include some time for YOURSELF whatever you get up to!

Much love on this Monday -

Love those scrappy Trees! I don't think I'll get a real tree this year. No place to put it. Maybe a throw to give me the tree I don't have to decorate. THANKS SEW MUCH!!

Loving this new pattern - will make wonderful Christmas gifts. Still drooling over Jeani's photo on those gorgeous red leaves. Looking forward to string piecing this winter - too many projects going now to make the Pine Tree Point this year. Have a feeling I'll be making several for next year gifting.

Love Pine Tree Point! There are certainly enough pine trees at my house, but I won’t have to rake needles from the trees on the quilt!

I got my order! Thank You very much! Now I love your Trees! I may just have to get that pattern too. That caddy is a wonderful piece of equipment for retreats or classes, too!
We have cold frosty weather now, but sunshine this week.

WOO HOO!!!!! I just bought the Pine Tree pattern and can't wait to get started! Thanks for another beautiful pattern Bonnie! The larger quilt is the perfect size for the wall that I want to hang it on and I love that you gave us the bonus table runner! We're having a Bonnie Hunter Christmas at our house this year! I also purchased the diaper/craft organizer thru your affiliate link and wanted to thank you for sharing that as well. That wouldn't have been an item I would have come upon on my own so I'm thrilled you shared it.

The quilt is the perfect size for the wall that I want to hang it on and what a nice bonus that we get a table runner as well!! It's going to be a Bonnie Hunter Christmas at our house this year! Thanks too, for sharing the diaper/craft organizer! I purchased one through your affiliate link as a way to support Quiltville for all that you do! I wouldn't have come upon the organizer on my own and getting a coupon code sweetened the deal. Have a beautiful day Bonnie.

Thank you Bonnie, I just ordered the diaper bag. I've been carrying a very pretty sewing basket to all my retreats, but it is heavy and the diaper bag sounds like a great idea. The sewing basket will now be used at home

I am looking forward to another strip piecing leader and ender. It probably won't be finished next year but will go in my boxes of striping blocks. Thanks for your great attitude and creativity.
