Just in the nick of time!
My December Quilty Box showed up at the QPO yesterday – perfect for a Christmas Eve post and gift-away, right here, right now!
I’m so grateful to the folks at Quilty Box for allowing me to continue offering these beautiful boxes to my readers. Each one has included so much inspiration – both in the patterns included in the Bundles of Inspiration magazine, and the fabrics, tools, notions and other goodies that come inside.
What’s in the December box? Just wait until you see!
Oh, such a lovely holiday box!
The first thing that caught my eye? The Olfa magnetic touch knives! How did they know I needed some box openers at the Quiltville Post Office? The ones I’ve been using for opening cases of books are worn out and terrible…..oh, Merry Christmas to me! Thank you, Quilty Box!
And of course – the fabric had me reaching out my fingers right away – needing to thumb through those folds and see just what was in this bundle -
All tied up with a Moda ribbon!
Oh, Yummy!
Here’s the full range -
I love the caption -
“Spread Kindness Like Confetti!”
They go in THIS quilt!
Add some background and accent yardage to your fat quarter bundle and you’ll soon be on your way to making the beautiful Winter Starlight quilt by designer Krista Moser. The pattern is found in the Bundles of Inspiration magazine included with your Quilty Box.
Krista’s 60 degree Diamond Mini ruler is included!
Krista tells us a bit about her ruler, manufactured by Creative Grids:
“Much like my quilts, this ruler has everything but the kitchen sink. I love to use it for diamonds and triangles, but it also does hexagons, trapezoids and parallelograms with ease. It has markings for every size from 1 12/’’ to 4 1/2’’ in all those shapes mentioned, and I will continue to design patterns that will give you a reason to use this ruler in a million different ways!”
I’m game! I love 60 degree shapes – so bring it on!
Also included in the December Quilt Box is a spool of Wonderfil thread in the perfect shade of gray. This will definitely go straight to the machine.
Here are some highlights to keep in mind:
- Quilty Box is a monthly subscription box of fun quilting supplies. We offer plans from $44-48/mo.
- 5% of the profits of multi-month subscriptions are donated to Quilts for Kids - a non-profit which donates quilts for children in need
- Each month we have 4 or more products (fabric, patterns, thread, or notions)
- Our retail value of the products in the box is always more than $60
- We will be using the hashtags #QuiltyBox and #GetQuilty
I LOVE the fact that 5% of the profits go to Quilts for Kids! It’s a win win all the way around!
Would you like to WIN this December box? Or perhaps we should even SWEETEN this deal by throwing in another Gift-Away with it??
To make this a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS GIFT-AWAY, the folks at IronEZ are offering in 2 IronEZ ironing board spray bottle holders (with spray bottles inluded) AND 2 $25 Amazon Gift Cards!
We will be drawing for FIVE GOLDEN WINNERS! (Yes, sung to the tune of Five Golden Rings!)
Winners 4 & 5 will each win a $25 Amazon Gift Card -
How cool is this? And for those who don't want to wait to win – you can save 15% using coupon code BH15off ordering from IronEZ directly! You’ll input the code on the checkout page.
Get two or three while you are at it. You are going to LOVE keeping those spray bottles in line and off of your ironing surface.
I love that it fits and corrals a multitude of favorite bottle sizes – and the free bottle that comes with it has even a finer mist than the traditional trigger spray on Best Press.
It will also hold an aerosol spray starch can, Flatter spray, or many beverage bottles – keep it near your machine and remember to HYDRATE!

Things around here have been hopping the entire month of December. I'm looking forward to some slow down time - hopefully by this afternoon! Click to Play:
The sunrise was SO beautiful this morning - and that fog rolling in - magical!
I am longing for some old movies, feet up, stitching in my favorite chair, and letting the hours of the next few days slowly slide on by as I do little to nothing – for just a while.
Quiltville Quote of the Day -
Happy Christmas Eve! Did you finish up your Quilty gifts or are you still rushing?
May your holiday be filled with love and laughter and those you care for!
The verse is from a vintage Christmas card.
