Meet Caroline!
Her mama Karen sent along this photo during our LAST Quilt-Cam, the first one ever they had watched live together!
She writes:
Hi Bonnie -- we've recently found your archived quilt-cams and were hooked from the first! My 8-year-old, Caroline, and I started to watch our first live quilt-cam last week when your sound went out.
She is just starting to sew and was working on a baby quilt for her new cousin that is due in a few weeks. She found a charm pack that she loved and we went from there.
We're trying it again tonight -- and we just finished up the last round of borders on the baby quilt.
Sending a picture of the pinwheels in progress and one of the finished top :)
Working on hexies tonight. Thanks for a fun evening!Check out the baby quilt that they made together:

Dancing Pinwheels! So fun! Great job, Caroline!
While the H quilt is still in the frame with no photos to show yet [[Only made it to 2/3 done today.]] I did a bit more cutting for the Garlic Knots block that I’ve been making as my designated Quilt-Cam project over the past few sessions.
All set up and ready to stitch!
The pattern for Garlic Knots is found in a previous issue of Quiltmaker Magazine. It was one of my Addicted to Scraps blocks. You can click the Addicted to Scraps tab at the top of the blog and scroll down to find the issue. You might have it already. If not, there is a link to the digital copy so you can purchase it if you decide you want to jump in and make your own!
Sewing on my green Bryson! Isn’t he handsome?
There is nothing like a vintage straight stitch machine for sewing 1/4’’ seams. Just love it!
And just a hint – if we lose connection, give it about 5 minutes and refresh the page to bring up the second feed. I am unable to re-connect to the first feed and will have to set up another Quilt-Cam session, re-edit the blog page and embed the new code for the new feed. It takes me a few minutes, but don’t give up.
If I am unable to reconnect, I’ll post a comment in the comments section and also on the page below the feed to let you know that there has been a problem and we won’t be continuing. This is just a heads up, just in case!
Okay! Let’s Sew! Click the arrow on the screen below to view.
Thanks for joining in, everyone!

How many garlic knot blocks do you plan to make for your project? I'm really liking them.
