A Bit of Country Girl Modern! ((Give-Away!))

20150312_203621
It’s a Give-Away Day!

But before we give away anything – I want to introduce you to a brand new book by our friends Jo & Kelli of Jo’s Country Junction!

I have known Jo & Kelli for quite some time, I love them to bits, and I am so excited for them and their new book release, Country Girl Modern -- It's just been released by my own publisher, Kansas City Star Quilts!

I'll be seeing Jo and Kelli in person this summer when we host a retreat together!

These two Iowa girls have got it going on, in a very colorful scrappy style, and you may already be familiar with the many patterns and tutorials that they have over at the Moda Bake Shop.

Hot off the presses is this new release of 11 great patterns for those of us who LOVE fabric and love our scraps!

Contemporary feeling quilts deeply rooted in tradition, just how we like them!

Open the cover and you will get a quick glimpse of just what you will find inside to inspire:

20150312_203703

Oh so much fun in sneaky previews!

20150312_203756

Gorgeous photography to help you dream!

20150312_203839

And best of all – Quick Reference Charts!

I also love the “Directions at a Glance” pages in my own books – and love it when I can find them elsewhere, I get so used to referring to them!  Pages like this help me keep my steps in order and parts organized!  You will find reference charts for all of the quilts in the book, making it easy to see how things will come together to make quilts like this:

May-Flowers

May Flowers!

Modern-Day-Patriot

Modern Day Patriot is one of my faves!

Puddle-Ducks (1)

Puddle Ducks!

Rainbow-Connection

Rainbow Connection.

Click over to Jo & Kelli’s book page HERE to see the other quilts close up and personal and to place your own order.

You can also visit the other hoppers on this tour to read their reviews and enter their give-aways!

Let’s do this Give-Away thing!

Leave me a comment below and we will draw on Sunday Evening, March 15th  for one signed copy coming from Jo & Kelli!

No, you can’t email your comment in, you can’t comment in the guest book, you can’t comment on facebook or instagram…it has to be HERE. On this post.  So I can use the random number generator to choose our lucky winner.  It’s only fair that way!

If you are a blogger or google user, PLEASE check your profile to make sure your email address is visible when someone clicks your profile so I can reach you.  If there is no email address on your profile I have to choose someone else.  If you are commenting as anonymous you must leave your name and your email address so I can reach you.

When in doubt, just please leave your email address!  It’s that simple!

If you are reading us on an iphone or ipad after clicking a link in facebook you must open this page in a new browser or safari window before you can comment.  Your device still thinks you are logged in as your facebook profile even though you do not think you are.  If you still see the blue bar at the top of your screen…trust me. You are still in facebook!

Same goes for Blog-lovin.  Get OUT of blog-lovin and view our page directly.

You can’t always comment while reading in a blog reader service.  Make sure our address starts with http://quiltville.blogspot.com  No bloglovin in the address!
