Your segment was perfect! If I had never used scraps before, I think you would have changed my mind after viewing the show. However, I do use scraps because you changed my mind a long time ago. Here's hoping you get many more viewers on your blog.

Fun! I can't wait until you get Ricky's shirt in the mail. lol

If you can't get the link, Bonnie can't fix it. It may be your connection. Try again.

Bummer! Can't get the link to work. Says the server's not responding. Bet there's too much traffic. Hope I can get there soon.

I can't get through to the Quilt Show either. I think we all probably "broke" it! Too many of us want to watch right now. LOL I will try later, we have about 5 days to see it free.

I am a basic member, and signed in. Then clicked your link back here, but it tells me the video is not in my librry.

Bonnie you flooded the site and it's now down! Bonnie power!

People: Put 'the quilt show' in your search engine, follow the 'join now' info for the free/basic membership. Then go back to Quiltville and hit the 'here' link in this post to go to the segment and chapters of Bonnie on the show.
It is good! Bonnie, you come across comfortable and the 'scrap-lover' shines!
BTW, there is nothing so heart-mending as walking behind an ever-joyful doggie on a walk!

Thank you MJ. I followed your instructions and found Bonnie's programme which I thoroughly enjoyed! Great show, Bonnie. Very clear explanations and great enthusiasm for scraps and strings which I am sure will get lots more fans trying out.

Great program giving a quick overview of all that you do! Love it!

Thanks Bonnie! I watched while sewing away on my Mountain Majesties blocks (I'm getting there!)

I have a plastic shoe box full of everything already cut out and ready to make Jamestown Landing. I even have all the string blocks finished, pressed and trimmed. However, most of my sewing studio is now packed (we are moving next Wednesday) so it might be a while yet before JT becomes a reality.

Love the "Jamestown Landing" quilt and name; blues and neutrals/tans are a favorite combo. It will go on my list to make. Loved seeing the show, you did a great job. Now I want to go play with the half star blocks, and see if I have enough neutrals for some good strings. Thanks for sharing the link!

Kangastuksia said...

Thank you for posting the link! Yesterday I thought that the show is not avaialble for us living outside of U.S. because not working link. But today it works.

I like scraps, too. And now, after your wonderful advises, I know better how to utilize them. :)

Best wishes

Bonnie Just watched your quilt show episode. It was great you gave crammed in lots of information which was not overwhelming just enough to want me to go to your blog (hope you have had an increase in people looking at your blog) and you knew what you were talking about there were no errs or ums you came across professional. You didn’t look nervous at all.

Loved The Quilt Show Episode today. By seeing you show in person your strips sizes you use and how you do leaders and enders I now understand it perfectly. Sometimes I just have to see to fully understand things, but this show got me up to par now. Thank you so much for all you do for us.

Dear Bonnie,
Loved the show - thanks so much for sharing. Unless you come to BC Canada, I'm not sure when I'd ever get to see you. This was a great second option, plus Quilt Cam of course.
Only problem - I watched before bed and now all I want to do is sew! You always inspire.
