Three hours of power sewing!
And these ladies got so much done! There are going to be some gorgeous quilts coming out of this class, many of them are already designated for things like Quilts of Valor, or other donation areas of worthy cause.
This makes my heart so happy!
It was a busy crazy day ---Our lecture was held about 5 miles away in a local church with seating capacity for the 200+ members and visiting guests.
Look who came to see me:
Cindy Blackberg!!
The Village Quilters are Cindy’s “home” guild, and I am so happy that she was home and not on the road as I am to come see me ---
You can catch up with Cindy’s review of my lecture on her blog HERE.
After the lecture was over, and folks had left to go grab lunch – we packed everything back up into Shamu and headed back over to the rec center to set up for the afternoon workshop that was to begin at 1:30pm.
I got to ogle this black beauty – 301 A!
What a sweetheart of a machine!
Before long block quarters were turning into full blocks!

We are at it again today!
Today's project is Pineapple Blossom and I know we will be having a super day here in Tennessee.
Tomorrow -- I'm off to Kentucky!

This is one of my favorite patterns from your website...made multiple! So fun to see Cindy...still working on those blocks from her class up in Pigeon Forge!
What fun! That looks like a great time for all. Have a super day!
Great pattern, will be using this one in the future. Everyone is having a good time.
