((If you look carefully, you just might see it on the cover, can you guess which one??!))
Sew very exciting!
New news coming on my trip to Mackinac Island ---The ferries are having a tough go of it with all the ice! It looks like arrangements are being made for us to catch another little flight from St Ignace over to Mackinac on Thursday instead of relying on a freight ferry to get us there. Oh, this is going to be an adventure.
Yesterday here in Winston Salem, NC it was 82 degrees and gorgeous. Today on Mackinac? 40 degrees with 22 mile an hour winds, with the windchill factor making it feel like temps in the mid 30s.
Oh boy.
There has also been some of THIS going on in the studio today in between everything else on this busy Monday:
Quilting in Progress!
Have a lovely Monday Evening, Everyone!

I love this baby blankie!!! It turned out so cute. I have been working on my Bernina 550QE quilting tote pieces...my daughter requested another tote. :)Snowing here at my house today too and on top of it I caught the crud...not fun. Dress warm...was hoping none of those twisters were near you!
Bonnie K, girl you are feeding my addiction - quilts that is!
I will try my best to see everything on the Blog Tour. This coming weekend, we are headed for Auburn Al to see 2 grandsons graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn!!!
Both parents are MEs, and so is John their Granddad! IT is definitely a family thing!!!
Smiles, JulieinTN
My guess is that pinkish one on the bottom toward the left...cannot wait to see! :)
The baby quilt is so cute, I really love the colors and the pattern.
Hmmmm. Which one is Bonnie's? Let me guess....
:-p
Hi Bonnie,
What pantograph are you using on the baby quilt? Looks flowery - very appropriate for a baby girl!
Safe travels to Michigan - however you'll get to the island. Can't wait to see you downstate at the GLHQ! Sorry about the weather - trust me: we just about had it with cold and nasty weather... Next storms are on the way.
Hi Bonnie
My guess is, if I go with the smallest units, the top row under the words Vol 9.
Bev H.
The baby quilt is gorgeous. i hope you have a wonderful time in Mackinaw and my guess, based on its little pieces and scrappiness... the block right under where it says "vol. 9".
Beautiful baby girl quilt! I love the colors.
What a beautiful baby quilt in progress from Aunt Bonnie!
I think your block is the one with the "Birds in the Air" triangles and stars.
Safe travels miss Bonnie!
I see a few people have guessed your block is NOT the one I'm thinking of...Shamu comes to mind.
Enjoy your trip, and the weather. It's supposed to be 95+degrees here in San Diego tomorrow.
Karen
My guess would be with those who said the one beneath Vol 9... sorry it's so cold here in the Midwest. If it's any consolation, we're not enjoying it much either! Love the baby quilt.
I would guess the stars one upper right hand corner.
My guess differs: I would say Bonnie's is the pinwheel centered block at the bottom left.
Yes come prepared to more northern climates. We are having rain and windy conditions today too. I don't think we are ever gonna get 80 degree temps!!
Your trip to Mackinac is beginning to sound definitely like an adventure!
Love your niece's quilt, love your blog too. keep up the great work

Wow! Your quilt is coming along nicely. Rainy day today, so a time in the sewing room is where I will be.

Thank you again for everything you share with us!

I have so enjoyed your adventures on Mackinaw. Too bad I live in the West. I think your block is the first one in the top row.
I'm guessing your block is in the upper right corner. Love your books and your blog. Thanks.

I love the baby quilt!
Yes it's great!
I found you on youtube. And I have been watching the old quilt cam videos. I can't wait to catch a live one. You have such good advise. I have never considered taking a quilting class before but I would sign up for one of yours. I just got my first treadle singer 1911, I can;t wait for the band to come to try it out.
Thanks for sharing so much with us, and the contest.
