Hi Bonnie, I am Stephanie Carter the designer behind Lily Ashbury fabric for Moda.
I have a new line shipping in a week or so and would love to offer your followers a giveaway as soon as I have my hands on the precuts.
I have also designed a quilt (see pic below) and would be most happy to offer a pattern as well. Please let me know if you are interested?
Warmest regards,
Stephanie Carter
Okay, who are we to turn down the offer of gorgeous fabric and a free pattern?
I mean, take a look at this yumminess!
Yowza! These are my 2013 favorite colors!
You did see my Lazy Sunday Quilt, Right?
Oh, I think this girl is right up my alley!
If you haven’t started Lazy Sunday yet, I think this gorgeous Layer Cake would get you well
under way!
That is IF you didn’t decide to make the High Street quilt from the included free pattern
right off!
Beautiful!
And this is the beautiful face behind it all. It’s thanks to her generosity that we are holding
this Give-Away!
So here is what I’m going to do. I’m headed to the cabin this morning. I’ll be home Sunday night.
Leave a comment below with what you would want to make with this luscious layer-cake. I will draw Sunday Evening for the winner of both the layer-cake and the free pattern!
And while you are out and about shopping, check your local quilt shop for Lily Ashbury High Street fabrics. If they are there, give them a pet and a feel and take some home, come on,
you know you want to!
If you don’t find them, consider asking your shop to get them in. They are just the fabrics
you are looking for!
I’ll be in touch from the cabin with quick updates…but mostly I’ll be getting in as much
piecing time as I can!
Have a great weekend, everyone!

What beautiful fabrics and colors. I have 20 young ladies (ages 7-12) who are learning to sew at my house. We are making some lap quilts for Christmas to take to a local nursing home and give each resident one of them. My girls are so excited. This fabric would make such bright and happy lap quilts for these senior-honored residents. Thanks for the chance to win them!!!
I would definitely have to do the High Street Quilt that goes with the fabric. It looks easy enough to get it finished in a couple of days.
I love the fabrics! I use ever smaller pieces first. Anything. Quilt, table runner, potholder... I´m going to basting one quilt and the other is a group job. Then I´m ready for another scrappy project.
I would definitely have to do the High Street Quilt pattern that comes with the fabric. It looks easy enough to complete in a couple of days.
I would definitely have to make the High Street Quilt first. It looks like it can be done in a couple of days.
I would definitely have to do the High Street Quilt first, then go out and buy some more of the fabric and do it in another quick and easy quilt pattern
I would love to make a quilt for my Mom. The fabric is just like her; happy and cheerful. :)
I think High Street would be the pattern I would use.

Oh my! Decisions, decisions! Your Lazy Sunday would be beautiful but so would so many others! No matter which pattern is used it will be a happy quilt. Just look at those colors!
Love it! Please include me in the drawing!
I like to have the fabric tell me what it wants to be. I'm sure this beautiful fabrics will have something to say to me!
Wow, such beautiful colors. I would make a lap quilt for the new little place I have by the lake. Need something warm for the approaching cooler weather.
Three in a Box from JayBird Quilts is the next one on my list, and these AWESOME fabrics would be so fabulous. My quilts are scrappy by frugality. I've always wanted to buy a collection of coordinated fabrics to make a planned scrappy masterpiece, but just haven't indulged yet. LOVE the bright colors and modern feel of the designs in this set. What a generous gift! Love the offered pattern too! My to-do list continues to grow.
Beautiful fabrics! I think my 11 yo daughter would love these to work with. She is working on her sewing skills--she's already a proficient knitter and hand sewer, and is now working on her machine sewing skills.
thank you Bonnie!!! A beautiful blanket to cheer someone day is what I'd make.
I would love to win either, but I think the fabric would look terrific for Easy Street which I have not started yet. LOL

Gorgeous Fabrics, quilt and the new pattern for the fabrics! I love them all! I would have to make a quilt for my 1st great grand child which is a pretty little girl named Eva!
HI Bonnie - have fun at the cabin! I'm thinking I'd make the free pattern, and hope for some scraps to add to my Lazy Sunday...since it isn't started yet, lol. But I'd probably change my mind a zillion times before I'm done fondling...since you are going to pick me, right? We're on our way home today from Asheville - a gorgeous detour from the usual drive back down 75...love the city and of course the mountains...jealous of your cabin even more! Fall will be glorious!
Pat

Oh, beautiful colors - so far I couldn't join in the Easy Street fun, so that's what I would use the fabric for. Thanks for a chance!

Beautiful, yummy fabric!! Just got back vacation with the family and this reminds me of warm weather and the beach. I would make a lap size string quilt.
These fabrics are absolutely magnificent! As a matter of fact, I just ordered a jelly roll of them and can't wait until they arrive. I am making a quilt with the jelly roll and would love to add some pillows with the layer cake. So, please select me. You would make this girl very, very happy!!
I have to have this fabric sooooo pretty!!! Did I say my first grandchild was born a week ago.... how I would love to make this for her.
Beautiful colors and patterns! Hmmm, so many choices on how to use. Guess I will have to think about this for a while if I should be the very lucky winner.
I guess my post got lost somewhere in cyber space, so I'm re-posting... I love the fabric, and I think the pattern that comes with it would make a beautiful quilt! Thanks to Stephanie Carter for the lovely giveaway.
Beautiful fabric!!! The colors remind me of Florida:) I would let the fabric tell me what block pattern to use....i am thinking string quilt or hexies.
Bonnie,
I actually love the pattern you have with the fabric. Hope I win ! Can't wait to get started
I would use this for a Craftsy class I'm taking.
Gorgeous fabric! Those are my Mom's favorite colors so, I'd make the table runner she asked me to make for her. Thanks for the chance to win :)
Beautiful fabric going on there! I need some explosive color in my family room and would make a nice lap sized quilt with it.
Gorgeous fabric! Those are my Mom's favorite colors so I can make the table runner she asked me to make for her. Thanks for the chance to win :)
I have been looking at patterns for layer cakes, as I have been gifted a gorgeous one. I have several possibilities, but I would definately have to check out out her pattern if I won this. I am thinking of the pattern of cutting the peices in half, flip and sew triangles on 4 corners, and put them in a zig-zag pattern. The pieces are still big enough to feature the wonderful fabric! beth9253@sbcglobal.net
this is my favorite line this summer, love the colors, having been dreaming of buying a lovely bundle so i would love to win this and make the quilt in the pattern, dreaming....lol
Thank you and what beautiful fabric. I would make myself a throw to warm and cheer me on the upcoming winter days. Very Nice of you to share with your readers.
These fabrics are so yummy! I think I will need to just gaze at them a while before I will know what's best to use them for. They make me feel good!
Thank you for sharing this beautiful fabric line. I would make a simple throw to warn and cheer me on the upcoming winter days.
A quilt, of course. :) I have a little girl that would just love those colors to brighten her bed. Thank you for offering this and thanks to Stephanie too. (Now just to decide on a pattern?!) Thanks again.

Hi Bonnie - I love High Street and would make the quilt from Lily Ashbury's pattern
Hi Bonnie, love those fabrics, and the pattern as well. I think I would have to make the Lazy Sunday Quilt. Thanks to you both for the chance to win.
Probably make something for my new grandniece. She is very much a "girl", and these fabrics would be perfect for a baby quilt!
Beautiful!! I'd make a quilt with it....thanks for the opportunity!
Wow! What beautiful fabric. I like the Lazy Sunday quilt idea but I also think a traditional churn dash or star would be lovely too.
These are beautiful fabrics! I needi a lap quilt to put over my legs in bed now that it is getting cooler. This would be perfect.
I would love to make a pretty frilly apron from this fabric, it is soooo pretty!!
I would love to make a frilly apron from this fabric, it is sooooo pretty!!
I love this fabric. In fact, I bought a jelly roll of it last week for one of my granddaughter's, but have two granddaughter's. Would love to win this so I can make quilts for both. I would make the free fabric in the free pattern. I just love it. Thank you so much for giving everyone the chance to win this.
Who am I kidding? If I won this fabric it would end up in several creations. I'd probably start with a lap quilt of pinwheels with a scrappy border. Orphans go into the "fun squares" bin for scrappy madness quilts (my favorite quilts are made with leftovers). Trimmings that are 2.5" strips go into my scrappy trips bin (which I'm using for leaders and enders), and anything smaller but still usable goes into the strings bin which I use most often for eclectic handbags! Scraps too small for strings get used as stuffing mixed with polyfill for fleece dog beds donated to Chicago's anti-cruelty society animal shelter. Whew! What fun this would be, and what great colors and textures to play with!
Beautiful fabric! Thank you for the opportunity to maybe winit!
Those fabrics would make a great string quilt if I could bear to cut them up! EvelyninAmherst
I would make the quilt she designed or something very similar to showcase each fabric and use up any scraps by making a tote bag!!

Stephanie has designed a beautiful line of fabric. I love the colors and would use them to make the Lazy Sunday. I've been waiting for some great fabric to start this quilt and here it is!

I think I would make pretty pillow cases and pillows for my 3 girls beds or make them some American girl doll outfits out of these. Their dolls would be in style for sure! Lol April in Minnesota

I'm taking a class using 5 inch squares, so I'd slice up this layer cake to use in that class.
Oh baby!!! Orange!! I love orange and the colors in this line are perfect fits. Hmmmm, what to do? Paper piece something!!
I just finished my quilt and sent it to Bolder for the flood victims. Now I'm ready for a new project, this could be the start of Lazy Sunday for me.
Those fabrics would be a great winter project to have finished for Easter. Then again they are so gorgeous they would brighten all our days. Thank Stephanie for bringing this beautiful fabric to our attention.
What a gorgeous color combination. I love seeing/using oranges and pinks together. I would love something with half-square triangles. kathleen dot lutz at doh dot state dot nj dot us

What warm and happy fabrics. Great for cold winter, thanks to both of you for showing me.
Ok it says there is 696 comments but I only see 200. I hope my post still shows. But I said in my other post that I hope is there. That i would make pretty pillow cases for my girls or cute American girl doll outfits for their dolls or a mini quilt for their dolls. Lol would be super cute. April

What beautiful colors & prints! I would love to use this fabric to make a "cheer up" quilt for a very "sparkly" friend who is facing health problems.
I'm just beginning to fall in love with brights! I wish I had more in my stash! Love this collection. I would probably make it into Carolina Crossroads or maybe Tumelo Trails. It'd be delish!
Gorgeous fabric! I don't have a specific project in mine, but would probably scatter those brights in scrappy projects to inject a little "pop"! Thank you, Stephanie, for your generosity.
That is beautiful fabrics. Any pattern would look nice with it in it. Just finishing up Lazy Sunday--doing the binding now. Can,t wait for your next Mystery project. I,ve done them all since I started quilting 4 yrs. ago.
Beautiful fabrics. I'd make them into a snuggle quilt for my little girl.
Gorgeous! I think I would make the Scrum-diddly-umptious Baby Quilt from Moda Bake
shop. A friend has a new bundle of joy coming and this layer cake would be perfect to fit in her world! Then the left overs can go into a nice scrap quilt to brighten it up! Oh, the possibilities!
Beautiful fabrics and something I would so not pick on my own. You know, that rut thing, comfortable, always picking the same colors and patterns. This would give me the push I need. Thanks for the chance.

I would love to win, and be able to start on a MACHINE quilt for my new grandson Zachary before he grows up! lol! Thanks!!
Well if I don't win, I am going straight out and buying it. It's wonderful. I am in a Maple Leaf mood and I'm thinking pinks and oranges. Be blessed!

Bonnie, I met you here in Eugene at Our Sewing Room and had such a great time at class. I've just started drinking the Hunter Koolaid, so I would probably make some throw pillows for my in-progress, almost done living room. I bought new paint for the accent wall yesterday called 'Funky Fiesta'--a peachy orange/pink that would look wonderful with this fabrics. I hope I win!
I think the bright colors would be wonderful for a Mountain Majesties wall hanging.

Those fabrics are gorgeous! I would have to fondle them and let them tell me what they want to be turned into.
