iPhone-o-Gram! Out and About!

Sadie and I are out and about in the Blue Ridge Mountains today!

We heard about the antiques festival in downtown West Jefferson and have to check it out!

Look what I saw on our way--- Barn Quilt!!

Awesome day for driving!

Bonnie, I stumbled on your site because I love scrappy quilts. I made Scrappy Trips for donation and had a great time doing it.

This is a great photo with good perspective having the flowers in the front & the hills behind.

Thanks ever so much for sharing!

Love Barn Quilts. Plan to do one for our house.... no barn here! ;)

I love how the wildflowers in the front of the photo match the colors of the block on the barn.

Any "finds" for the cabin at the antique festival?

I love West Jefferson and my cousin and DH live there on a lake. They also have a "Front Porch Quilt"(no barn) made by the Quilt Square Girls in W. Jefferson. That town always has something happening almost every weekend. Enjoy.

Hi Bonnie& All
Does anybody know if there is copyright laws for doing a barn quilt block?
I have a couple of barns I really want to put a quilt block on.
Thanks from Montana

Love the barn. Just thought I would see if I can still comment from my new computer

Stick with the old time traditional blocks that are public domain, or get permission from the designer if it is a "recent" block.

Yes you can, but please put your name in your post so we know who you are :)

Don't mean to show my cultural ignorance. But are Barn Quilts actual quilts or painted pictures of quilts on the barns? Julie (Australia)

Bonnie, hope you go back to the barn with the quilt block and knock on the door. Has to be a quilter waiting to meet you. lol
