Mickey and I are up at the cabin – we have napped, we have had dinner – and our machines are set up and ready to roll!
We were so into what we were doing, that we almost missed this beautiful view of the sun setting behind the blue ridge.
This is my favorite place on earth! :-)

Oh, I do hope you get a chance to see the Perseids! The meteor shower tonight is supposed to be spectacular, and up at your cabin should be the ideal place - far from city lights, a large expanse of sky. Have fun, whatever you do!
