We have a thunderstorm brewing and I can't seem to get connected to google hangout..it says bad connection :((
I have tried multiple times and I can't get a connection ---I've checked my upload and download speed....
Looks like Quilt-Cam is a no go for tonight and I am SO sorry! I wish I knew what the trouble was.
Sorry folks! Still...if you are up and at it, go sew something.
I'll be working at my machine anyway!

whew, it's not me :)
That's OK. Sorry you are having technical troubles. I got my Bentwood converted for the Hand Crank thanks to you and Cindy. I would love to watch you using one of your Hand Crank machines on Quilt Cam sometime.
OH DARN! ;-)
Ah shoot! This was going to be the first time I was seeing you live and not archived. There is a storm around me too tonight here in Canada....kinda ironic! Have fun with what you are doing. I am hand quilting a quilt for a nephew's wedding in August. No pressure!!
OH DARN! ;-)
Thank you for trying Bonnie! I'll work on my backings for my two mystery quilts. Have an enjoyable retreat starting tomorrow with your gal pals at the cabin. Break it in good and keep us posted if you come down the mountain. Sew Happy, Allison
Oh pooh! I will just have to work on my Lazy Sunday Mystery and the new LE project with my cat for company tonight. Hope the storm isn't too severe and you lose power, Bonnie.
Bummer... oh well, maybe I'll put on one of the QuiltCams I missed earlier while I cut pieces and organize for the LeaderEnder Challenge. Have a great evening at your sewing, Bonnie, and catch you next time!
Oh well. Hope weather improves for you.
Not sewing tonight I was going to watch you as I continue to process my scraps into usable squares and strips -- all thanks to the inspiration I got from your crumb and string blocks. I gave you a shout out on my blog earlier today. hope this storm isn't to big -- we've had enough rain here in the last 3 weeks for a while.
Sorry Quilt Cam didn't work:( Hope the storm isn't too bad. Finishing off the double wedding quilt for my mum (overdue but she doesn't mind waiting). Will see you next time. Keep sewing and smiling:)
so sorry...do not fret...we love you anyway.
Stay dry and sew...I have started cutting my new L&E's.
I sure wish I lived in NC...watched the Aerial America yesterday and they did NC!!! Beautiful! My brother lives in Raleigh now. Maybe I can coordinate a visit sometime.
XOXOXO Subee
I wondered if the storms here were the problem! I'm set to sew so even though I can't watch you I'll get some done! ;)

that is ok girl. better you be safe than chance getting fried anyway. We will sew on and catch you next time. Have a great sew date with the girls at the cabin!!
Ah well, these things happen. I think I'll check the Quilt Cam archives and sew with you that way. Quilting Baptist Fans on a teapot themed wall hanging tonight. Hope to catch you in person next time, but with you in spirit tonight.
Oh well , all is not lost I will hand quilt on my scrap quilt anyway. I know you will have a wonderful time at the Cabin sewing. I hope you found an acceptable table for the machines. Sew, eat, laugh and most of all have a wonderful time!
I will be working on my scraps so I'm ready to start the LE challenge! This will be my first one and I'm kind of excited. Also need to prep some Dear Jane blocks for our group meeting tomorrow! The weather people are saying it might storm here in AZ tonight but we will probably just get lots of blowing dust. Stay safe and dry!
Bonnie, I hope you have a fun time on you Mini retreat at the new cabin. Sorry you are having storms, and can not have Quilt Cam tonight. Will work hand sewing a binding to a Wall hanging.
Storms here tonight, too. Have a great weekend!!
Boy do I understand the thunderstorm aspect of this! Nonstop rain for hours here north of Pittsburgh with flash flooding all around the area. Tonight they were saying we had confirmed tornadoes that touched down, and one the next town over from us. Stay safe and hope you have a fabulous weekend away.

Sorry about the miss on quilt cam. I did spend most of the day at my LQS stitching binding, enjoying new quilting friends. Lots of stories to share, miseries to shed, and lots of laughter. You are right, you are never a stranger when quilters get together. Stephani in N. TX (Tomazec@aol.com)
Ah what a day here! While looking for the right fabric to bind my just quilted quilt (closely followed your Hopscotch Butterscotch pattern), got all caught up in FABRIC FONDLING lol...oh yes, it was such a pleasant time.
Sorted some fabrics from my Bonnie Cut box into those to be cut into strip and those to by cut larger. Wow, what you find you forgot you ever had. I am blessed with 2 busy quilting friends, who DO NOT LIKE TO KEEP SCRAPS. So guess who gets them :)- Moi! Visions of Split Nine Patches filled my head etc. Hey? Who ever as time to get bored? Not a quilter!!!!
Sorry about Quilt Cam bring down this evening. Will be on another time. Weather here is crazy also.
Smiles, JulieinTN
I was hand stitching on my contemporary hex quilt while you were trying to get quilt cam working. I enjoyed stitching along with everyone and got quite a lot done. Thanks for being there. I knew I was not stitching on my own.
I have family visiting and was wondering how I could sneek a while in the studio to watch quilt cam & sew. Sad, but just can't help when "technology" doesn't play nice. Enjoy your night off and I look forward to the next quilt cam.
Its a bummer that Quiltcam didn't work tonight. Internet gremlins.
Sorry the cam would not work.. Love to watch you, you are such a upbeat person... Wish more folks in the world had you attitude... You are a great teacher and person.. Love quilting with you.
