I am deep into hexagon mode--we've got movies on the iPad for the long flight--grabbed a bite to eat here in the airport, I'll stitch and snooze my way to Alaska.
How many hexies can one girl stitch between Greensboro and Atlanta? Nine!! How many more between Atlanta and Anchorage??!! A lot!!

you and hubby have a good time in Alaska. take lots of pics. i live in Oregon but could so easily live in Alaska. its one of Gods most beautiful creations.

Have a wonderful time seeing the sights! I have just finished cutting hexies to take along with me on my trip to Pennsylvania, so will be thinking of you when I am stitching away! Will have lots of time to stitch as I am house/pet sitting for my sister....so it is just me and four dogs for a week!
Does anyone ever recognize you while you are piecing on a plane? And did Hubster get to trade places with anyone on the plane to get closer to you?
Hey, Bonnie, can you talk a little bit about the organizer bag on your lap in the above photo? It looks like a good thing to keep all the parts and pieces together while traveling.
Nice neat small project carrier I see on your lap for the Hexies. What is it? Where did you pick it up?

I knitted several scarves on the plane to and from Detroit and Anchorage! They ended up going to Russia as gifts for the people who helped me with the adoptions!
Count me in with the others who are taken with the case on your lap, and would like to have more info. Travel safely, and enjoy your trip!

Hey Miss B... do you trim your squares into the hexie shape before you baste them on the foundation? I do, only because I worry about all the bulk in the back. Just curious as to your method. Have a great trip.
