Iphone-o-Gram! Views from Portland Harbor!

On our way toward Bangor where I'll be teaching tomorrow---

We stopped to visit the Portland Head Light Lighthouse at Fort Williams Park, one of the most photographed lighthouses on the coast of Maine.

It was cold! And windy! And breathtakingly beautiful.

Hello, Maine! It's great to see you again!

It really does look windy there! You get to visit some of the neatest places. I've never been to Maine. Enjoy your ride to Bangor.

that is a beautiful lighthouse! My grandmother loved them and had a collection of miniatures... don't know which ones... I think they were given to some of the grands and great grands. Have a safe trip!

Portland Oregon in March and Portland Maine in May. No double rainbow there though. Have a great time with your quilters. Your classes are a blast!

I've been in parts of Maine, but never to the Portland Head lighthouse. It's on my bucket list! It's where my Nana's people are from.

Beautiful area. Two of my kids went to college in Maine. Until then, I had never been there. Miss visiting all the sights there.

One of the things I miss most about South FL is the Jupiter Lighthouse at the Jupiter Inlet. There is something wonderful about lighthouses, isn't there?

You will be having a super good time. Hope your tickly throat has gone and is no more...

Have to say I'm a bit jealous :-) I would love to be there with you! But Mary Ann is right...it is great to be at least an "arm-chair traveler" with you. I hope you are feeling better and have a wonderful time in that gorgeous state called Maine. It is beautiful!
