It's a beautiful day---we flew above high rolling clouds on our flight from Greensboro to Newark and this was the view as the sun said hello to this brand new day.
Pardon the cruddy window--just how often do these get washed anyway?
I've been fed.
I've taken a 2 hour nap and a shower.
And I'm going to sew my brains out on a borrowed Bernina until it's time to head to my lecture tonight with the Amoskeag quilters of Manchester, NH!!

You'll love that Bernina, Bonnie; It's the same model I have though you have peaked my interest in vintage machines. I own a Featherweight and a 1902 Singer 27 treadle from my grandmother (I'm 76!!) Love the block you are working on. What is it? Please enjoy the good weather. We are in the middle of another snow storm, and friends in Illinois are dealing with flooding.
My hope is to sew tonight, as there is no need to venture outside.
Been thinking about you all morning...and thanks again Bonnie - you came to the rescue w/o knowing it....was visiting Mom early afternoon and she REALLY needed a distraction as the visiting nurse was tending some issues...I told her 'my friend Bonnie' is in MANCHESTER today - that really caught her ATTENTION...I also told her you usually will take pics of the areas you visit...she is looking forward to that!
Mom grew up not to far from where you will have your workshop with the Amoskeag Quilters! Small world.... :)
I'm sure you said this before, but are the geese units paper pieced? They are looking really cute... love how all the colors 'move' in the blocks. Wondering what book this one is going to be in :)

Hi Bonnie, waving to you from Bartlett,NH. Hubby & I drove up here from RI this morning for a mini vacation. He just retired have so we're up here for a week to celebrate his freedom. I'll be doing some sewing while I'm here, looks like rain is coming our way so I'll be spending some time inside anyway. Enjoy your class.
Your Wild & Goosey blocks are looking just great! I'm sure that it will be my first adventure into paper piecing. It is just so cute!!

This is too funny, I have the same machine, and I was in New Hampshire yesterday too. Just passing through on my way to Maine (just got here around 6 p.m.).
Cute block with the tiny little geese. I hate making them, but do enjoy paper piecing...maybe that is the solution for me. Will be looking for that magazine with the pattern.

Isn't that your block from the latest Quiltmaker? I love the scrappy colors and so many pieces. Flying Geese have always had my heart. I can't wait to see the finished quilt! Have a super day!
