«Oldest ‹Older 401 – 600 of 925 Newer› Newest»Olallieberry Cobbler from Swanton's on the Coast Hwy or the chocolate cake my daughter makes! I know, that's two! Too hard to decide this early in the morning! lol
You mean I have to pick one? Impossible! But my two favorite flavors are chocolate, and creamy. So, I am a big fan of chocolate mousse, or anything that involves ice cream, or whipped cream. Even as I am saying this, I am thinking of all of the wonderful fruit flavors that I am leaving out. I watched quilt cam last night. (Wednesday night) I had non quilting guests Monday night. What a treat to have quilt cam to watch a couple of days later! I love love love the new set up. Thanks for all you do for us. You certainly go above and beyond the call of duty.
Your block is yummy!! Love Lava cake with ice cream atop!!!
ice cream is there any other desert better than ice cream. ok lets think blueberry pie with ice cream is good. And in the asummer you can't beat watermellon, but then we had this millefois the other nite that was so good. Oh and there is this cheese cake we get from this bakerty near us. And of course you have to have butter tarts at christmas or mincemeat tarts. I also like pudding and jellow especially with some whipped cream on top. hmmmmm better go have some lunch, I brought an apple with me for desert.
what a great giveaway hope I win and my favorite dessert is coconut cream pie .
Mine varries, depending on the season, or occasion. During Thanksgiving, my favorite is Pumpkin Pie Filling (with no crust, with fresh whipped cream.) During Birthdays, German Chocolate Cake (with extra Coconut/Pecan Frosting.) For everyday eating, Monster Cookies! Then you get Peanut Butter Chips, Chocolate Chips & M&Ms in ONE oatmeal style cookie (without the raisins) and sometimes we add Butterscotch Chips too.
Orange Creamcicle Layer cake is the yummiest of desserts. Easy to make and every one loves it! Would love to have a copy of the new "200 Blocks" book.
Chocolate cake w/choc frosting and a big glass of milk.
Wish I could have come! My sister Jeri Bonser lives in Portland and is an avid quilter! We both did the Easy Street and let's see... Favorite dessert is Lemon meringue Pie! Loving the posts from Block Party!
fresh baked homemade apple & pear pie. my husband is (in)famous for making these during the holidays - they take the cake & beat it into submission! sometimes, pie is just better. or, even just the baked pear drizzled in pear juices & cloves... either of these warm with a scoop of Dreyer's slow churned vanilla bean ice cream. oh so good.
I love anything with pecans -- but pecan pie is my absolute favorite. My grandmother would bake one for me to take back to college with me when I was home on weekends, and that was the one thing I didn't share with anyone! I'd share cookies, pound cake, and any other goodies from home -- but DON'T MESS WITH MY PECAN PIE!
My favorit dessert is berry pie! love it. lisaursino@msn.com

I love raspberry shakes with a Yellow cupcake with chocolate frosting! They are my biggest down fall. When I'm having a bad day I get the raspberry shake. Then find myself a cake mix and make a cake in a mug!
My email is sharshawns2(at)gmail(dot)com
My favorite dessert is pineapple upside down cake - love the mix of tart and sweet!
My all time favorite dessert is pecan pie. I wonder if we will find any when we are in Ireland in June. I CAN'T WAIT!
I love give aways even though I never win. This is a great book. It sounds like you are having a great time. Wish I were there. My favorite dessert is just a little chocolate to finish sweet.
My favorite will soon be your favorite (if you have to go gluten-free) - cheesecake with a nut crust. Just make sure that the crust is nuts, butter and sugar - nothing else. Make it sweet for dessert or less so for breakfast! Enjoy!
Judy Morin
threadlady@bellsouth.net
This is an easy one to answer. My down fall is ice cream & my ultimate favorite is a banana split with the works. I can always find a good reason why it is good for me 1) vitamin D & dairy (ice cream) 2) potassium (bananas) 3)protein (nuts). I had a close friend who shared the same logic as I do and we would be able to talk ourselves into banana splits for dinner. We would do day trips and have a good lunch then splurge on a banana split for dinner. YUMMY !!! It is making me crave one now just typing this.
Apricot Cobbler using fresh off the tree apricots.
My favorite dessert is Coconut Cake, the kind made from scratch where you grate the coconut from a real coconut.
Sound like you are having fun. Enjoy!!
My favorite dessert will soon be your favorite (if you have to go gluten-free) - cheesecake with a nut crust. Just be sure the crust only contains nuts, sugar and butter - no flour!. Make it large, make it small (mini's to go), make it sweet (dessert) or not-so-sweet (breakfast). Enjoy!
Judy Morin
threadlady@bellsouth.net
My favorite desserts are a raspberry shake and a yellow cupcake with chocolate frosting. When I'm having a rough day I stop by and by a shake. Then come home and make a cupcake in a mug so I guess you would call that a "mugcake".
To just make sure you have my email here it is

Do I really have to choose just one "favorite" dessert. Okay, I guess my all-time favorite is warm blueberry pie with rich, creamy vanilla ice cream.
A perfectly-executed New York cheesecake. Decadently creamy, barely cake-like texture, not too sweet. If you must have a fruit with it, a simple fresh raspberry coulis on the side.

One of my absolute favorite desserts is self saucing pudding from Australia. I miss it so much! I tried to make it here in Idaho and it REALLY didn't work! LOL! But, oh so yummy!
Great Aunt Emma's Chocolate Mint Brownies (they are 3 layers, with bitter-sweet chocolate melted and spread on top). I keep them in the fridge, and cut them small. They melt in the mouth. (Not gluten free however, so it will be a while before I eat them again.)
I'm diabetic so I'm somewhat limited on sweet deserts... but I can dream and remember chocolate meringue pie, lemon chiffon pie, Girl Scout mint cookies, Snickers,(and the list goes on and on). I better stop now before I attack something tasty and sweet! I know where my hubby hides his chocolate!
I would love to win. My favorite dessert - homemade chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. :)
