Jamestown Landing Day in Dallas, GA!

This really is one of my favorite quilts from String Fling –30 years worth of collected scraps!

Tons of neutral strings --- lots of half square triangles…it’s a piecing paradise for those who love PRODUCTION --- and I do……

Sew 860 half square triangles all in one batch? No problem!  String blocks as far as the eye can see?  riotous fun!

It's this kind of repetitive stitching that I love to do...it's stress free, completely "in the zone!"

So simple, but so intricate at the same time!

Did the Quilters have a good time?  You tell me!

YES!

YES!

Absolutely YES!

This is another workshop that requires a lot of variety before you start putting things together ----while the ladies worked on their variety, only a few blocks were assembled in the process, because they were focusing on production of that need for variety, rather than focusing on individual blocks.

Look at these girls SEW!

Terry  was also working on her little leader ender project on the side….look at these!

Thank you to the Silver Comet Stitchers for the warm welcome and the great time in Dallas, GA!

Today we do it all over again in Cartersville --- we are doing Texas Tumbleweeds, which appeared in Quiltmaker Magazine a couple issues back ---It’s my last workshop this tour, We’ve filled every day full to the gills!
