iPhone-o-Gram! Smith Mountain in Lake Oconee!

I am here in Greensboro, Georgia enjoying a Smith Mountain morning class with the ladies of the lake Oconee quilt guild!

So far the ladies are mastering half square triangles using the easy angle ruler and after lunch we will move onto star points and then finally on to the hourglass units for the center of the log cabin blocks.

A fun time is being had by all as you can tell by the smiles on faces :-)

I have enjoyed my time here immensely and can't wait to come back!

"Willer" is southern for "ruler", ya'all! even a girl from northern Indiana knows that! Helps to have relatives int the South!

I love the fourth photo. The lady in the center looks like she's wearing a crown. I guess she must have felt like Queen For The Day!
