That quilt screams southern to me! Love that type. 30s/40s?!?? So glad it was priced so that you could bring it home. Its a very neat one, love the Baptist fan. I want to do one, im so afraid of not starting in the middle of a quilt though...
Well, we would like a lot to have a rainy day here, in Porto Alegre, Brasil! It's so hot outside(and inside where there's no air conditionair) that we don't want to do anything, just stay imobilized ! 30 celsius at 8 am is terrible. Now is 29 celsius at 10 pm. I have 3 air conditionairs working here, just to stay seated.... If youy don't belive in global warming, you are invited to come here(well, if you believe you are invited to)! Hugs Carla

took another look, It looks like the geese are in flight the way the strings are showing movement!

I am definitely making one of these. It is gorgeous. Love the sting geese.
I love that quilt...the colors & the creative way to use strings! I think I just may have to copy that idea....someday....
