iPhone-o-Gram! Chow Time!

The numbness is gone. A bit tender but not too bad.

Not bad enough that I want to take the Vicodin and be loopy. I'd rather deal with ibuprophen and be functional!

I'm working on the orange string blocks I started last night on QuiltCam. I have an idea in my head for them but nothing to share yet. If it works---I'll share! If not--you'll never hear about my ugly "nice try!!"

Dinner is also ready---and oh so yummy! It's been simmering for 6 hours and the aroma is heavenly.

No QuiltCam tonight but we'll cross fingers for tomorrow, okay?

Have a great evening everyone!

I'm glad your non-loopy med is working and that you're able to enjoy that delicious stew! hmmm... If I had jumped in my car and headed south when you first put it in the pot, I could have been at your house just in time! Hot stew with home made corn bread, yum!!!

A couple years back I made an Orange string quilt for a dear friend - it's a wonder she got it - I fell in love with it...but knowing she would LOVE it MORE made me happy to give it to her.

This has nothing to do with this post (tho my eye keeps going back to that STEW)...today as I was dragging through the hospital after the first visit of the day to with my Mom...I spied a gal walking in front of me....I wanted to whip out my camera and take a picture of her dress...but then I would have had to explain myself..and chances are good she wasn't a quilter so she wouldn't have understood...but her jumper was made from the PAISLEY FABRIC you so often come across when putting together your blocks on QuiltCam...you know...the one you keep asking "doesn't everyone have this fabric????" - it was purple...it made me grin. Thanks for the smile I needed today!

I'm so glad you are feeling "okay". Gosh, your dinner looks so much better than mine! Just slices of ham, Irish swiss cheese, apple, grapes and chardonnay here. I was looking over your flyers at dinner. I am about ready to commit to Alaska.

Glad your session at the dentist is over and thank you for the yummy recipe. I hope I'm now entered into the Texas Tumbleweeds QM drawing, too. Thanks for the chance!

Oh Bonnie....your oranges remind me that I made an entire string quilt of orange fabrics for a friend!!! So very pretty and sunshiny to work with, aren't they?

Glad you are not in too much pain. I just finished painting two walls in my new quilt studio (daughter's old bedroom) brick red and I like it! I hope to start a wall quilt this weekend to hang on the wall. Enjoy the stew! I plan to make some soon.
