iPhone-o-gram! Wandering!

I made a pit stop at an antique mall after an appointment was over.

So far nothing is coming home but I like what I see!

The hand hooked kitty rug is calling to me!

The kitty rug would come home if the price was right!

I liked the quilt but when I saw the kitty rug I got really excited! My aunt taught me to hook rugs and I did it a variety of ways when I was younger. She drew her own patterns even. Yup, the rug would win out over the quilt this time, quite the surprise to me.

Hi Bonnie,

This is Marjorie from California. I watched you last night and wish I could get to NC for a retreat but too far away. So I am thinking about the fantasy Bonnie Hunter retreat I would plan and it would include antiquing, fabric shopping at Mary Jo's (I think that's her name)for cheddar fabric, lots of demo's, seeing some of your vintage machines, letting us know what to look for if we see one for sale and of course lots of sewing. I also wanted to let you know I purchase a "Continental" iron from Amazon and really like it. Because the soleplate isn't Teflon it forces me to PRESS not Iron. Have a good day.

I don't like cats but that IS a cute rug ... did it make it into the car?

I stay out of antique stores ... too many temptations ... my downfall are garage sales ... found a White Rotary (think it might be a Model 43) at one this week - pretty cabinet - can't wait to pick her up tonight when Andrea gets home from work - paid $40 for it and am excited to see how it runs - yes, I bought it without trying it! I am going to take pictures when I get it home and post them on my FB page - my hubby wasn't even upset when he learned about it - now to find a new home for my Singer Treadle that was given to me.

Can somebody help me - I want to post (not anonymously) but don't know what is supposed to go in the URL line? Where does my email go? I tried typing that in the URL line but that doesn't work. I don't have a blogging account. Thanks!

Are you "registered" as a google user or whatever it is..you must not have a blog, as so many who do not, or have not, don't pop up. Wish I could be of more help.
In a nutshell...you HAVE TO GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION!~ So many don't want to do this, but I don't think there is any other way.

I always want to take it ALLLLLL home with me. In reality, I need to get rid of some of my stuff before I can bring new stuff into this house. We've downsized, given away, thrown away, given away...
More to "deal with" at the end of next year or next spring. Not looking forward to it.

By any chance, is that kitty rug a Claire Murray rug? It looks like her style. Those irons are very cool, and I love the quilt.

I would not have been game to leave that kitty rug behind!! It might be gone when I got back.
I would have had to take it home immediately!!
Especially as it looks like one of my kitties.
