Three short rows!
That is all that is left of this last corner section.
Three short rows!
It was a beautiful day to fly into Chicago and I stitched the short 25 minute flight from Fort Wayne to O'Hare.
I've got three more hours before my flight from Chicago to Greensboro. I'd like to turn that "three rows left" to two!
I'm also thinking I need to track down some frozen yogurt!
Oh decisions!!

WooHoo! So close!!
YAY!!! What are you going to do when this is finished? I've been following the hexagons for the past 2 years when I liked Quiltville on Facebook,
Those scissors must be working okay for your flight stitching? This quilt is turning out so beautiful!
Happy to hear that you are going to finally achieve your goal! Have a safe flight home.
And then there is that Reuben sandwich too!!
Ahhhh, Chicago ... my (original) hometown ... did you ever have any of Garrett's popcorn? Oh My GOSH!!! Try the caramel mixed with cheddar ... yes, I know it sounds weird ... but it's really, really good. Tough on the fingers though (stains) so get a bag and take it home with you ... travel safe and do well on those last rows of hexies!!
Linnie, we did try some of that popcorn on our last trip to Chicago and it is awesome but very messy. (Warning for you Bonnie!) I am also working on a hexie quilt but mine is much easier as I am incorporating 9 large hexy flowers into another quilt layout I saw in quilters newsletter magazine. Mine has been in the works for probably 3 years because it is also my travel project. I have 2 more flowers to make and then I can get started on the other elements in the design which includes applique. Can't wait to see yoyrs quilted. Whoo Hoo!!!!
I really love this quilt. I love the colors in it. They are so soothing.
Wow what a great "nearly" finished quilt. You'll have fun taking out all those papers! It is going to be a beauty!
This is a "pretty things" post if you ask me. Pretty hexies and a grand photo!
Congratulations on being nearly finished.
I know you are using a color of aurifil that blends and I'm curious about the color number.
