My errands this morning gave me enough time in the middle to wander!
Look what I see!
No, I didn't buy the machine but I love its color!
The Donny Osmond album is one I had as a pre-teen! Oh this takes me back!
Nothing is coming home with me but pictures this trip---and that's ok too!

Oh I love those old metal kitchen tables with the drawer underneath. My folks had one just like it only in jumbo size since 9 of us sat down for dinner every night in the kitchen.
Happy pain free sewing I hope :0)
Look at the Donny Osmond album! Doesn't he look like a '70's Justin Beber? The more things change, the more they stay the same. LOL!
How do you find these things? I must live in the wrong part of the country!!!
I bet that machine was hard to resist!
LOOK!!! It already has the 1/4" tape marker on there! LOL
Yea Loretta, what good eyes you have! Suzanne in Maine
Was hoping it was your new machine from the airlines!!! What are they going to do about your machine?
I have a collection of Brothet machines! Somehow just drawn to them. Wish I was closer.... Di in TN
I thrifted on Broad St yesterday and came away with 2 shoeboxes full of sewing notions. All because you now have me stopping to look at old sewing machine! Like I need another vintage machine with 2 1950s and one 1970s! You are a bad influence.
My first "second machine" was a Brother 666, probably just a bit newer than the one shown here. I named it Old Nick (a euphemism for the devil in keeping with the model number). It cost $35 at a church rummage sale in 1999. It had a plastic carrying case, though it was an all-metal machine. Worked fine, but weighed about 25 lbs. It didn't sell at my 2009 garage sale and I donated it to my church rummage sale.
Oh Bonnie
That turquoise table would go perfect in my kitchen at the farm. My new colors are white and turquoise with red accents. What was the price? Need to make a road trip to your part of the country.

I Still have the Donny Osmond Album somewhere.
