Well, it was meant to be for you to have that quilt. No doubt!:) I am so attracted to red borders and red bindings. My great aunts always used red binding in their beautiful scrappy quilts. (I'm going to publish a book one day solely devoted to their quilts.) I bought out all the Turkey Red fabric that People, Places, and Quilt had one time....Have fun at Sisters! I'm so glad it was waiting for you this year! I absolutely loved in your photos last year. Is there any chance you will bring it to your September crumbs workshop in Indiana? I'd love to see it in person.
Its lovely--hope you will post some nice close ups. Lucky you. It looks like even the weather is cooperating and oohing off a little from earlier this week......
Such a beauty I'm surprised no one snapped it up. It was definitely meant to be ... it was waiting there for you! Enjoy the show and thank you for sharing photos!
Such a fun quilt. How lucky that it was still there. Are the Baptist fans going every which way? When I am debating a purchase I always ask myself, "Will I be sorry in a week if I don't get it?" Unfortunately I don't always get the answer right. : )
I missed seeing you, but there were a lot of people there today. I didn't see the antique quilt booth, where was it? I though of you as I passed the antique shop...
Bonnie---This quilt waited for you to take me home. It will be treasured and how many times it will be felt right? Love your website and your sharing. Joyce
