iPhone-o-gram! A Visit to BJ's!

Let the shopping begin!

We've stopped at BJ's Quilt Basket in Bend---things are ramping up for the arrival of busses and hoards of quilters who will come through over the weekend!

I'm in search of a variety of more greens and some purples---

The tent is set up outside for the hubbies to sit while the wives browse.

It's hot, and so appreciated that they provide cold water on ice for shoppers as they leave!

Next stop---Best Buy!

I fondly remember my week at the Sisters Show. WE had classes at the Riverbend Motel or Hotel, I think that was the name, and Thank God we did cause it was record highs that year, and the school in Sisters didn't have air conditioning, but we had a great time. Went to Bjs and then to the Mercentile, I guess that has closed but too bad, we went there about 3 times.....and the show on Sat was wonderful...it is a great time. Wish we could all bet there. Jan

Love the greens you picked out! Would you mind sharing which company they are from? I've been looking for that kind of green and I haven't been able to find it yet.

Thanks!

So I am so happy to see you having fun. Resilence is a great gift. And BJs looks like a quilter's dream shop. So buy some for me while you are there... I need some neutrals lol

Bonnie, I have my eyes, fingers and toes crossed for good luck ;) with your laptop hunt and the FW situation. Glad you will be with friends. Laughter helps lessens the load.

Smiles,

Can we assume these are mystery colors? Lol! I really need to build up my greens and purples .. And yellow, orange, and blacks. My poor stash..,

those are lovely greens, but I thought you were looking for purple, that looks blue to me. maybe that's why I don't buy fabric on line.

I've been there before, nice store! great idea to keep the guys cool while the wives spend their hard earned cash. I'll just have to live "sisters" through you guys! My ride left today and I still hadn't found a place to stay.
