All of the blocks, half blocks, and corners for my Nearly Insane Salinda Rupp quilt are done!
And yes, the triangles are turned RIGHT! It's a reproduction of a wonky block made wonky on purpose, though several of you have told me to fix it!
This is how it is staying---wonky on purpose! ((And somehow I get the giggles over how nuts this makes some of you --- let it go, people! You are too uptight! LOL!))
I'll cut sashings when I get home and likely complete the assembly on my own turf.
I've been working on this quilt since about 2003, but have been in love with Salinda's quilt since the late 1980s.
Insane? Yes! Worth it? Oh yes!!

All those teeny paper pieced blocks are amazing! But, are those 3 bottom row pink blocks possibly 1/4 turn off? Assymetry drives me nuts, so I notice things like that. Safe drive home..Chris Gray, Augusta

Yea!!!! Mine is languishing somewhere in that dreaded storage unit!!! It looks like it will be September before that storage unit gets unpacked and sent to Tampa. I hate moving!!! LOL!!!

The turned triangles are NOT a mistake --- they are that way on purpose. They are that way on the original quilt, and I'm keeping mine that way ;c)

Oh my - what a great finish! Time to break out the bubbly to celebrate!!! (Or in my case the white zinfandel :*D) I've always loved this quilt and I'm totally jealous of those who have tackled it. I think having completed a Dear Jane quilt will have to suffice for me. I'll just love yours from afar! =^..^=

Thanks for letting me know you have projects that you are working on that were started a few years ago. (Sigh!) It's so nice to know that somebody as productive as you can keep something going that long. I'm working on ORCA. Did the black nine patches wrong - duh - doing them over. Put the black where the white should go. I'll just save these for something else. They are pretty, but...... Well you know the story. Barby in MH, AR
Just wondering if you will be putting a "disclaimer" on your quilt label? Telling generations to come that it was "meant to be" this way... as far as this one block! Just a thought! LoL...
