Well the title of the quilt suits us quilters... so it's meant to be! Maybe just not now. We all need our skeletons... err... I mean the odd UFO's n the closet ;-)
Wow that is so beautiful. It will be so breathtaking when you get finished. I am sure you will get back to it soon, if you posted it on the wall it must be calling out to you. LOL.

OMG! You really need to use the leader/ender process and fish this. I told neon my online friends about your system and that just last week I got several blocks done that way!
Uh, why not put a border around it as is, and a sleeve on the back to turn it into a wall hanging. Saw a great "half-lone star" at the quilt show this past weekend. Made a great wall hanging. Just saying...that will help eliminate one more UFO. :) Faye B, Maine
Ok gonna try to post a comment again...lol...I too bought both Nearly Insane and Farmer's Wife this past winter. My intention was to work on one block for each a month, no rush to finish the project. Just something to use my stash with. Now, have I worked on either one in months? NOPE...so Bonnie, you have inspired me to atleast go look at the books!! LOL I think I have to finish a customer's quilt first though...she might want it back sometime soon! lol Happy quilting!
I agree with Jennifer above that wants to take it off your hands. It is wonderful! You must finish it, or send it on it's way! Is there someone in your family or a friend who could help?
My niece just discovered that book yesterday and brought it to my attention. She finished an awesome Dear Jane quilt a year or so ago so she will probably make one of these too.
I am sure you will finish this one. do you have the blocks all done or is this as far as you are with them? Could you just do some rearranging and make it square?
I remember when you started this quilt...no rush...five years just barely qualifies as a UFO in my house! Maybe get back to it when you finish your hexagon quilt!
It is so beautiful! I love these quilts! I started mine with Tazzie and only ended up with 13 blocks and it is in a box! Of course, she finished hers and is now quilting it! :( Someday I would love to get back to mine too. Kristie
Bonnie, I gave you the Blog on Fire award. You can read about it on my blog: http://loisarnold.blogspot.com. I so enjoy reading your posts both the quilt ones and the book recommendation ones.
Bonnie...your quilt is beautiful. Seeing as it took me four years to complete my original one, you are not that far behind!!! Hope you can find time to finish this one...it's so worth it. Liz Lois author of Nearly Insane
Hey there Bonnie hon, your NI is just adorable, and I'm sure you'll get back to it at some stage. I see you've done two of the trickiest blocks already, so the rest will be a breeze!! *hugs* Tazzie :-)

Just curious what made you come across this in the wee hours of the morning? It is a visual treat!

Could it be a travelling project once the hex quilt is finished?

You put a lot of work into it, it would be a shame not to finish it. It is quite lovely.
Bonnie, I am sure you will finish that one day, maybe this winter. It is lovely and looks like you put a lot of work into it already.
