I’ve had a WONDERFUL relaxing catch up day! Gosh, did I need this….I even scheduled myself for a lovely 90 minute massage this afternoon.
I am complete JELLY!
Today has been a day of mostly paperwork related stuff. I had website work that needed attending to. I had a weeks worth of mail to sort through and bills to take care of and a full email box to clean out.
I opened my 2015 Calendar ((!!)) and it is filling!
While we were in Delta Junction, AK, DH and I stayed in the most wonderful B&B, and I really loved sitting around the dining table listening to Lonnie tell the stories of Hillcrest B&B and things that have happened to them out in the wilds of Alaska!
So when I came upon this Amazon freebie, I snagged it!
The Trouble with Green by Liv James is free today from the Amazon Kindle store, and has received a perfect 5 out of 5 stars based on six customer reviews.
Product Description
Josie’s life turns upside down when her earth-friendly inns get national press. Her architect husband gets a job offer on the other side of the country, the owners of her best inn disappear, and an unwanted guest drags danger to her door. As Josie is drawn deeper into her guest's twisted plan, she determines that she must fight the ghosts of her past if she has any hope of survival.
There were NO stories like this one from the B&B that I stayed in, but we were shown pictures of a HUGE bear that was right up in the sliding glass door…YIKES!!
We were told, “But there are no snakes, and no poisonous spiders!” As if THAT makes everything better? Bears! OH MY!
Some have commented that it’s not fair that I don’t list the Nook or other books. This blog isn’t about listing all the free books that are out there for every platform. I list what I choose to read because it was something that I found interesting enough to download myself for my OWN reading :c) I have a kindle, and I use it.
If you don’t have a kindle, you can download these to your computer and read them there, or if you like the title and the description, check them out of your library.
You can also download them to your phone if you have a smart phone by installing the kindle app.
You can use a kindle app on your ipad, or other tablet. I have a Toshiba Thrive, and I love it!
I just post what I like…..and that’s all there is to it!
As always, double check before clicking that this book is still free, prices can change without notice ---
Enjoy!

I love your sharing these books, I have a Kindle and have liked a lot of your recommends..
Thanks!
I totally agree with you Bonnie!! This is your blog - and we can read (or not!!) if we choose - and reading about where you are and what you doing is fun for me. Reading about the latest book you've found, eh, sometimes I check it out sometimes I don't - but I would NEVER tell you what to put on your blog or why you don't inclued this or that!!! This is YOUR blog. And I enjoy it, as is.....
And a calander for 2015!!!!! Uh, I did't even know they made them yet!!! ;-)
totally agree - I post books that I like too and I use the Kindle - like you say your blog is not a book blog or a kindle blog, it is about what you do and what you read.

Despite the fact that I have a Nook rather than a Kindle, I really appreciate your postings about free book offerings. I usually check to see if the book is free for Nook first, sometimes it is, and sometimes it isn't. If it isn't, I'm happy enough to download it from Amazon for my computer! Thanks, Bonnie!
Appreciate the heads-up on whatever you want to mention, Kindle books or quilting or traveling or..... Love your blog!
One of my favorite quotes comes from Murphy's Law, "No good deed goes unpunished"! You are so generous with your blog postings that I find it hard to believe anyone would complain about anything. Please just keep on doing what you do so well!
I like your recommendations. I have a Nook and just go to B&N's website and I have always found the book free there also.
I love to read, but after reading all day on the computer my eyes can't handle it. I have resorted to downloading audio books. They are wonderful and I can sew and "read" at the same time.
I didn't know there was a Kindle App so thanks for saying that. I've added it to my phone and downloaded the book. Thanks
And I should expect you to be my book "editor" on top of everything else you do? I think not. The audacity!! haha I have neither a Kindle nor a Nook, but I appreciate the effort you put out to include all of us in something you enjoy and think we may enjoy as well. Glad you had a "jelly-ful" massage today, you deserved it after the red-eye from AK. Be well.

I have a Kindle and love it. I do appreciate your finds and look forward to your recommendations.
I truly appreciate your Kindle freebie posts - I download every single one!
I'm another who appreciates your freebie posts.
cheers Ruth
I did recently download the kindle app to my smart phone and even though every book seems to have more then 2000 pages, a lot to flip through, I love having books on my phone in cases of emergency! This book was still free when I just checked, I downloaded it immediately... just keep posting what you like. I will decide if I find it interesting too. I just loved Loki's daughters!
Thanks for the recommendation. I downloaded "Trouble With Green" and look forward to reading it on my next flight.
BTW if you're looking for a great (and cheap) Kindle download check out "The Imperfect Enjoyment" by Dewan Gibson. Subject matter is somewhat adult, but the book is hilarious and touching.
Thanks again!
My mom always said "life's not fair" keep em coming, love to see your posts even though I have a Nook. :)
As ever, Bonnie, I appreciate your suggestions on books
hugs
