Take a look at the pic to the left….Where am I!? Does this look familiar to any one of you?
Guess!
I have a couple of friends and whenever we pass through this place, we have to text each other pics of Nuts On Clark! Does it ring a bell to you?
Of course, getting strangers to take pics of you in FRONT of Nuts On Clark is a whole ‘nuther kind of funny! But I have a very close connection, and I’m not stopping to do that!
((Yes, this blog post has been pre-written to include photos of other times I’ve been through this same destination, and I pass through here A LOT! That’s another huge HINT for you!))
Do you remember seeing this on your way through “this place”?? If you never leave the C/B terminals you might never find it…but since I fly from Greensboro in small commuter planes, we tend to always be parked in the cattle pen area E/F Gates! I can’t imagine actually fighting a war in this thing. The display has biographical excerpts of the pilot that this airport was named after. Are you still guessing?
How many of these airports have DINOSAURS in them?! And if this guy could talk, what would he say? Do you know now?
I’ve walked MILES in this space! The people movers are for slackers ;c) I plug in my ear buds and ipod on long layovers and walk the outside corridors, miles and miles and miles, up and around back and forth --- you can get a good workout just walking down here, under ground between the B & C terminals!
If you guessed CHICAGO OHARE, you are RIGHT!
But that isn’t my final destination! Stay Tuned!

Where in the world is Bonnie? An entirely new Quilville feature, I love it!
Oops... should have read "QuilTville. Where in the world was my brain?
Chicago is no hint at all...you have to go through Chicago to get anywhere!
I'm impressed that you are so organised that you pre-wrote all of this - and it sounds like you had a great fun doing it. Go Bonnie!!!
"Nuts on Clark" ~~ you're hilarious
I was going to be mad if you were staying in chi but didn't let me know......!!!!!
Have absolutely no clue, still. But then I don't expect to know. I'm usually clueless!
By the way - Nuts on Clark.... My FAVORITE carmel corn... MMMMMM
Jenna just flew out of O'Hare this morning and I told her if she went by nuts on clark on her return trip to buy me some!!!!
Hey I have been to that airport! SMILE> Safe travels!
O'Hare Airport of course!! Forget Nuts on Clark - make a stop at Garrett's Popcorn. The best ever!!!!
Have a great trip!!!
Come to my house. I am only about 5 hours away from Chicago. I could use a sewing day!
I have no idea, but I sure am having fun watching for the next post!
Nuts on Clark didn't tip me off, but that airplane did! Definitely not a place I'd want to have a short layover, but so much to see if you have time to walk around. Fly safe!
I definitely recognized O'Hare. I have seen quite a bit of it in the last year traveling to SD to care for my mother-in-law or to NC to visit my son when he working on his Master's degree at Duke. Familar sights, but as someone else stated, a layover in Chicago is no hint at all. Since you said "she", I guess you are not visiting your father. Sarah
hmmm bathing suit is a clue; my guess? florida or california. last time she went to florida she got a pedicure (feet picture) and had her bathing suit...that's the limit of my deductive powers to now
Chicago! I remember from a long time ago. Hope you hit Miracle Mile too!
Ha ha ha... I remember the last time I walked through that area in the Chicago airport the A/C was out and it was nearly raining in there...every hard surface was dripping.
Safe travels,
Kim
So you should be there by now... So fess up!
Is this an adult version of "Where's Wally"?
Bonnie, I knew as soon as I saw Nuts on Clark.
Not sure where else you are going but I got the Chicago part.
Just picked up someone from Ohare today--If I knew you were there I would have honked!
Where's Bonnie?
I expected to open your blog this morning and see you smiling at your Mom......am I right?
Safe travels
You absolutely MUST MUST MUST stop at Garrett's Popcorn stand in the United Terminal at O'Hare Field. They have a caramel/cheese corn combination that is to absolutely DIE for. I always bring home the biggest bag of that AND the biggest bag of just caramel corner that I can get on the plane whenever I pass through that terminal. Nuts of Clark is great but Garrett's is AWESOME!! Linda (Flatlander)
I've only flown to Dallas out of O'Hare so far. Guess I've missed those things. I DID think that you might be in O'Hare. The dino must be from the Field Museum. Guess what!?! You'll be back here in May 2012. You are coming to one of my guilds then.
