Australian Homespun Give-Away!

Timing is EVERYTHING!

I was in the process of packing the car for my Florida trip…and look what the postman brought!

It’s the box containing my Jamestown Landing quilt, and the 3 additional issues for this Giveaway!!

This poor box looks like it has come a long way, doesn’t it!? And it HAS! All the way TO Australia, and back again!

I was thinking that I wouldn’t be able to do this until I RETURNED from Florida, but you know what? Since I am hitting the road early and will be on the road all day, it seemed like the perfect time to just throw this out to you!

jamestownlanding 005

And since Sunday is my “Day Off” on this trip….you have until Sunday to get your comments in! I’ll draw the winners while on the road and mail them to you from Florida, wherever I am…how’s that?

jamestownlanding 006

I don’t want to run an essay contest. I’m not going to ask that you leave a comment that states your favorite quilt ever, or your niftiest gadget or technique that changed your quilting life forever, but what I would like is that if you are NOT already a Quiltville facebook friend, that you would leave your comment below, AND also click LIKE on our facebook widget over there in the right hand side panel ------>

I’d love to have you as a friend! It’s a great way to keep connected, and it’s lots of fun!

Feel free to repost this Giveaway on your own blogs, on your own facebook page or email list.

jamestownproject14-15-FINAL

My thanks go to Australian Homespun Magazine for the Give Away copies --- And for the wonderful job they did on the article, the quilt directions, diagrams and the beautiful photography!

Good Luck, Y’all! This issue could be yours! Just leave your comment below!

Happy Quilting!

Favorite quilt ever - I do not know the quilter, material or pattern. Years ago I want with a friend to a small church in a little rural town in Mississippi. The church quilting group had a display. I will never forget the royal blue quilt twinkling with silver stars of various sizes. This was years before I considered quilting. I loved the quilt.

Anonymous said...

I think That this "Australian Homespun Magazine " must go to France because the beautiful blue quilt would perfectly match the sky in my country, in Provence.
I'm going to visit your facebook page

I love your quilts, all of them! I'm trying to implement what you mentioned in your KIngwood Trunk Show, cut scraps for 15 min at the time (when you think you don't have time). I have been piecing using leaders and enders since I bought your book a couple of years ago. But occasionally, I run out of them and get lazy and don't cut scraps. Now, I have plenty and should have enough leaders and enders to make a quilt soon! :-)

Must. Make. This. Quilt. Good Gravy that's gorgeous! Judging from the number of comments, I'm thinking my chances of winning a copy of that issue are slim. Is it available for purchase somewhere for us US folks?

Hi Bonnie,
I am not with face book (too many conections already in the net with me) but I still have your blog in my link list following you.
You are my Scrapp Queen!
Have a good time

I had not done one of your mysteries until Roll Roll Cotton Boll, and I must confess that I'm hooked. It even fits our new king-sized bed. Thanks for the chance to be entered in the giveaway.

I'd love to win the magazine but am not sure if I qualify since I'm not on Facebook. Please add me to the drawing if that isn't necessary.
I've been stockpiling quilt related books and magazines for my recovery following shoulder surgery next week. No sewing for 4 to 12 weeks! YIKES

I am already on the lookout to buy this magazine but put my name in the hat! Thanks Bonnie!

That is such a delightful quilt and I really enjoy reading magazines and blogs from Australia so I would really love to receive a copy of this magazine. I read your blog regularly but have made it a point not to get into the Facebook venue for personal reasons. Hopefully this will not bode in a negative manner for the draw. Enjoy your stay in Florida.
