And soft pastel deliciousness like this one!
I just LOVED the large chunky cornerstones in this pink/white version and that is what inspired me to play with this setting.
Because I work with scraps, it is ALWAYS difficult for me to tell you how many yards of this-or-that you might need, because I just dig. And I cut. And I sew, and if I run out of something, I grab another piece. Often times yardage is hard to calculate because I might only use a 2 1/2” square of something…and just ONE of that is in my quilt, and to tell you to buy yardage for one 2 1/2” square is just silly. SO….work with what you have, if you run short, buy some more!
If you have approximately 2 yards of neutrals, 2 yards of scrappy colors, and 2 yards (8 FQs) of yellows, you should be good to go!

Kiss In The Corner!
Block size: 4.5"
Quilt size: Approx. 60" X 67"
Shoo Fly Blocks! What is not to like about them?
This quilt starts with bonus half square triangles! You know, the kind you get when you are doing that snowball-techique where you put a smaller square in the corner of a larger square and sew on the diagonal? I save those, double sewing them with a scant 3/8” seam between the two seam lines and square them to the best measurement I can get out of them, always aiming for something that gives me a usable measurement to work with. I have BOXES that have been square-able to 2” and that is what I used here!
You will need 288 half square triangles that measure 2”, and they will finish into the quilt at 1-1/2”. They are the same size as the triangles in Roll Roll Cotton Boll! If you don’t have a stash of half square triangles of this size, you can use your Easy Angle Ruler and 2” strips to make them:
Match the strips with right sides together, and use the 2” marking on the ruler to cut 288 matched pairs. Stitch up into 288 half square triangle units. Feel free to use ANY method that will give you the number of half square triangles required!
Next Step! Sew a bunch of 2” scrap fabrics ((Mine are all recycled from clothing!)) between two 2” strips of chrome yellow. Press seams toward the yellow. We will be cutting “three-sie” units from these, as if we were sewing 9 patches:
Slice the strip panels into 2” sub-sections. You will need 72 of these three-sies! And while you are at it, cut 144 2” yellow squares to go with them!
Add a triangle unit to the end of each yellow square as shown! Press seams toward the yellow! Make 144.
Combine the triangle units and the three-sie units to make 72 adorable Shoo-Fly blocks as shown! These should measure 5” and finish at 4.5” when sewn into the quilt.
Pieced Sashings:
It’s the pieced sashings that add those cute wonky friendship star units to the quilt layout!
Piece a bunch more strip sets from 2” strips, with colors in the center, flanked by two neutral strips on either side. You need 168 2" sub-cuts for the sashings. Press seams toward the neutral strips.
I really loved using these fabrics together! Using recycled fabrics along with the regular quilt stash just adds such a softness, giving you an instantly vintage looking quilt!
Let’s put the “Kiss” in the “Corner!”
For this step I grabbed my trusty box of 1.5” scrap squares. This is the smallest size of scrap that I cut to any specific size, and I use these quite a bit! If you are cutting from 1.5” strips, or cutting individual 1.5” squares, you will need TWO squares for each sashing, or 336 1.5” squares.
I started out just pulling the recycled fabric ones, but as I went I found that there were other colors and fabrics that I wanted to throw in to make these little stars sing.
What I really LIKE about using these small squares, is that we won’t have any corners to match when we sew the quilt together. They will float a bit, surrounding the star within the neutral areas!
Start by laying a 1.5” square in the upper right corner of the three-sie unit as shown. Stitch across the red square, from corner to corner on the diagonal. Fold the red square back against the corner to check that it matches the edges of the neutral square. Trim excess approximately 1/4” beyond the stitching and press. Repeat for the opposite corner at the bottom left of the unit.
Make 168 pieced sashing units. *Note* all of your units must be identical to each other in placement of the two corner triangle “Kisses”!
Setting Triangles & Cornerstones:
From yellow prints cut:
Cut (59) 2” squares of various yellows for cornerstones.
(6) 7 5/8” Squares. Cut each square from corner to corner twice with an X to yield 24 setting triangles. 22 will be used in the quilt, 2 will be extra.
(2) 4 1/8” Squares. Cut each square from corner to corner once to yield 4 corner triangles.
(7) 3 1/4” Squares. Cut each square from corner to corner twice with an X to yield 28 small setting triangles. 26 will be used in the quilt, 2 will be extra.
*Note* If you have the companion angle ruler, these small setting triangles, which go on the end of the sashing rows at the edges of the quilt, can be cut from 1.5” strips as shown:
I like using my specialty rulers when I can!
Layout:
This part becomes a design wall/floor process! I want to make sure that the colors fall where I want them to, so I lay out the WHOLE QUILT so I can rearrange blocks and sashings as needed:
Lay out the Shoofly blocks, leaving room for the sashings and cornerstones in between. Layout the yellow cornerstones where the triangles in the sashing meet to form the friendship star design. Finally, place the setting triangles, Large and small where they go, and then the corners.
Diagonal quilts are sewn in rows, starting in one corner, and working toward the center of the quilt with each row increasing in length. Stitch the quilt center into rows, and join the rows to complete quilt center. I like to piece the top in two halves, and then join the two halves together. This helps distribute much of the bulk as the quilt halves grow! Press well.
Using a large ruler with a good 1/4” marking, trim up the edges of the quilt with the edge falling 1/4” past all block corners. This helps get rid of dog ears, etc. Stay stitch around the edge of quilt if desired, about 1/8” from the edge.
Borders:
Inner border:
From random 1.5” wide red strips—Join lengths together on the diagonal to reach a border length of approximately 260” Trim excess 1/4” beyond the stitching and press seams open.
Outer Border:
From random 3.5” wide blue strips and rectangles –join lengths together on the “straight” by butting the ends and stitching to reach a border length of approximately 260”. Press seams open.
Stitch narrow red inner border to outer blue border with right sides together. Press seam toward the red inner border.
Lay the quilt center out on the floor, smoothing it gently. Do not tug or pull. Measure the quilt through the center from top to bottom. Cut two side borders this length. Measure the quilt from side to side across the center. Cut two side borders this length.
Stitch side borders to quilt, pinning center and ends and easing where necessary to fit. Press seams toward inner border.
Cut (4) 4.5” Squares from blue for border corners. Add a border corner square to each end of both top and bottom borders. Press seam toward the borders. Attach top and bottom borders to quilt, pinning to match centers and ends and easing where necessary to fit. Press seams toward inner border.
QUILTING!!
I quilted Kiss in The Corner with an edge to edge design by Hermione Agee of Lorien Quilting called Country Garden! I love the leaves and swirls and circles in this design! I used a sandy tan colored thread, and bound the quilt with lengths of 2.5” blue strips joined on the diagonal. That red fabric with the circles? It was a pair of capris! The blue corner square was one of my own blouses. Loved that print!
This light blue fabric was also a blouse of mine…next to it the dark blue paisley? That was one of those jumpers I had years ago…the ones that made us all look like school teachers? LOL! And next to it..that red leafy paisley? Another pair of capris! I’ve loved working with these recycled bits, every one!
Is there such a thing as too much yellow? I don’t think so!

I think my favorite quilt so far is the Sassy Sixteen pattern. It must be my favorite, I've made three. I'd love to win your new book Bonnie. And, thanks for the bonus pattern. I've got lots of those bonus HST.
hello Bonnie, I am having so much fun with Roll Roll Cotton Boll that this is my next to do quilt! Thank you for all your wonderful patterns. Please enter me into the draw to win your new book for some more fantastic quilt patterns! thank you!!! Gina from sunny Oz!!!
This is a terrific scrap user--another winner from your amazing brain, Bonnie! I would be thrilled to win a signed copy of your book.
My favorite quilt I ever made was a Bowtie quilt I designed and made for my brother for his 50th birthday a few months ago. It was scrappy, of course, with a lot of fabrics from my scrap bins and stash. I was especially happy with the checkerboard borders I added, all from 2" scraps and squares.
Hi Bonnie and friends! My most favorite quilt is usually the one I am working on. Right now it is Roll Roll Cotton Boll. Next week it will be my daughter's wedding ring star. I just really enjoy the process!

Oh Boy! Another great scrappy quilt to add to my 'need to make' list! Love it! My favorite quilt would have to be my crumby quilt that you featured on your Sept. 16 post....I loved it so much I made two! And I was quite honored that it made your post!
Would love to win your book, but will be getting it no matter what!
Hey....it's Saturday....the thrift shop is open today....yippee, more shirts! HA!
Hi Bonnie, once again you have out done yourself...you are a wonderful designer and a inspiration to all. I love everyone of my quilts, as each of them present a new challenge, but If I was to have to pick one, it would be the lap quilt I made for my Grandmother. mommamea43@hotmail.com. Yeppy another new book....
I love this quilt also, Thanks for the BONUS!!
Wow! the pieced border really sets off the RRCB. I can hardly wait to get mine done.
Another fabulous quilt! My favorite quilt is my Double Delight..love everything about that quilt!
Roll Roll Cotton Boll by far. This has really stretched my confidence and skill level. I love it, and I adore this one too.....I may never stop making your quilts!!
Gorgeous! And, No! there cannot be too much yellow in a quilt. :o)
RRCB is my favorite. As soon as I finish in my colorway, I want to start over again and make it in yours. I love the red, pink, green & brown together in yours and never before have I made the same quilt twice in a row, so it must be my favorite! Kiss in the Corner looks great, too!

My favorite quilt so far has been double delight although it's hard to choose. That was my first Bonnie mystery and the most and smallest pieces I had used. It turned out gorgeous, I gave it away but am very tempted to make another one. I would love to have your new book.
My favorite Quilt to make is the Dissapearing 9-patch. Of your quilts I still am working on finishing one. I need to do lots of scrap re-oraganizing to finish. I need your Scraps and Shirtails book for more inspiration. Thanks for Kiss in the Corner!
Another winner! I had some left over threesies from RRBC so I started this quilt already ;-D
The quilt I'm working on is my favorite so far. I used your Crayon Box pattern. It's a happy quilt and when I look at it, I smile. Can't wait to see it all finished. I think I may name it "Happy Crayon Box". Please enter me in your drawing. I'd love to have a copy of your new book.
Hi Bonnie. Kiss in the Ciorner is a gorgeously vibrant quilt. I don't really have a favourite quilt that I've made because I love them all. Every one of them is a laour of love.
Would love to win your book.
Rhianon from Scotland.
rhianontaylor@blueyonder.co.uk
I can't believe you did it again! This quilt is really striking! I am afraid I would have to raid the shops for yellow fabric, you won't find a lot in my stash from that ;-).
What a fab quilt - it makes me want to start digging in my scrap stash right now, instead of getting breakfast for the family!
My favourite ever quilt was a scrappy appliqued hearts, hugs and kisses design that I made when my daughter was a tiny baby.
Wow, I love this quilt! Always wanted to do a quilt with blues and yellow! So great! My favourite quilt so far is probably the butterflyquilt I made. It just makes my heart sing when I look at it.
I would love to win your book!
Love the quilt!
I would have to say my favorite quilt was the one I made my mother a year ago. We were visiting my LQS and she fell in love with a shop sample. I went back and got it with the intention of making it for her next birthday. I missed that birthday, but I got it done for her 70th. She slept under that quilt until she passed away a few weeks later.
This quilt is awesome, just like the RRCB quilt. Another stash buster on my to do list, thank you.
Alda, Fl
It's very hard to choose one quilt but I really love Double Delight! Thank you for that new one, I might use cheddar in place of the yellow...
my email: quiltlover1@gmail.com
Thanks, Val
My favorite quilt is a scrappy sampler with a black background - assorted sizes in a grid rather than row by row same size blocks.
When I showed it to my aunt and explained the "sampler" concept she replied, "Oh, it's a hodgepodge." So I named my quilt 'Not JUST a Hodgepodge' in memory of the visit. :)
I think my favorite quilt is one of the earliest ones that I made. It was a graduation quilt and was a sampler made with a lot of novelty prints that meant something about my daughters life. She graduated from high school in 2000, and the back of the quilt was made with 10' squares of millennium fabric.
I think my last quilt was my favorite also! It's in the header on my blog! I would love to win a copy of your book.
OK, OK, I'm ready to try the yellow!
Sherry D.
I really like Sister's Choice the best so far. I am fairly new to scrap quilting and Sister's Choice taught me that I could put All SORTS of colours together and it looked fantastic!!! Also I learnt about bonus half square triangles. I've got both Bonnie's books and would loive to get the next one.
Yummie! This quilt looks like the fudges you posted some weeks ago! Have to withhold myself sinking my teeth in it! Honestly, I would never think of something so Yellow to be That Beautiful. Except Banana Split ;^}
That favorite quilt I ever made? :^{ Will be given away! Christmas Lights, so I have to make anonther one! Have yet to think about "my" colors, so DH will love it too! His are ocre and dusty red, mine are purple and fiery red.
Work to do! Have a nice and safe trip tomorrow!
Love, Irene
OMGsh! I really love this pattern, too! I can't wait to get started on so many of your patterns and this is no exception - to be honest, too much yellow for me, but any other color would substitute there -- I'm originally from the Pocono Mtns of PA (not far from Hershey), so I was of course thinking Hershey Kisses (silver wrapper, white paper w/ blue print and yummy chocolate inside)!
Any way, my favorite quilt that I've made is a scrappy red, white and blue Star & Hourglass quilt called "Coming Home" in honor of my husband's military service. It was my first scrappy quilting experience and I loved it!
Looks like I need to build my stash of yellows! Great quilt Bonnie as with all of your quilts. I think that my favorite quilt that I have made so far is Cathedral Stars. I was going to keep it for myself but gave it to my parents for this past Christmas. They love it! I think Roll Roll Cotton Boll is going to be my next favorite.
oh just love all that chrome yellow in there!
great quilt design!!!!
my favorite quilt I have made has to be my little tumbler (thimbles) doll quilt that hangs in my sewing room. they are 1" high and VERY scrappy !
over 250 different fabrics in it. I find myself looking at it every day just looking at the fabrics.
Happy New Year!
Kathie
What a beautiful design!! I love as much yellow as possible too. My favourite quilt that I ever made was my first quilt for my father-in-law's wedding - a photo quilt. Now I'm loving strip piecing for the RRCB quilt and the neutrals are so classy! Thanks Bonnie. Would love to win your book but if not, I'll look for your book.
Cheers, Susan
I am a new quilter...I enjoyed making the I Spy a 4-Patch pattern and would love to make the RRCB quilt!
Dear Bonnie,
I like to recyle old fabric and clothes and all the little scraps are going in a great quilt. I like all Scrapquilts and one of my favorite is the RRCB. It was fun, fun, fun and all the stash is going a little pit.
Hope you give us in Germany this year more ideas for making scrapquilts.
You are a great Scrapmama.
Elke from Germany
My favorite quilt that I've ever made is always the one I'm currently working on, and right now that is Roll, Roll, Cotton Boll.
Easy one! My Blue Ridge Beauty quilt. Designed by YOU! I love making the blocks and how they come together in that pattern. I have plans to make a smaller version in a different colorway! Thanks for all your wonderful patterns, even the ones with 600 2" hsts! *giggle*
Regina in MI
Oh that's a hard one, sew many to choose from! LOL But ultimately it's my ORB Round 1 Quilt along simple rail fence, that just all Amy Butler fabrics, it's such a happy quilt! I agree, you can never had too much yellow! :)
My favorite quilt was a scrappy cats twin size quilt that I made for my then two year old daughter. I used red as the border to tie it all together and I still love it to this day!
Hi, Bonnie! Thanks so much for the free pattern and for the trunk show over on Stash Manicure! I loved seeing the pictures of from your new book and Oh, I'd love to win a copy of "Scraps and Shirttales II"!
Tell you something about a favorite quilt I made...? Well, fav is a blue and white Ocean Waves quilt I made in 2008. I was not feeling well at all when I quilted it, and was sort of hanging over the machine fighting nausea, but wanting to finish it. And the feeling when I could wrap it around me and crawl up on the sofa with a mug of tea was priceless! And it is probably the quilt I have made that is used the most.
Oh, and one of my Dad's favorite shirts is in the poinsetta stars in my version of your Carolina Christmas quilt ;o) (it's basted, but still needs to be quilted).
My favorite quilt - 54/40 or Fight (triangle in a Square Stars)- I have made several of these. If I am unable to pick a pattern I usually will make up this quilt. Mostly I am drawn to the older patterns - 54/40, Dresden Plate, Double Wedding Ring, Grandmothers Flower Garden, and the scrappy 9-patch. And all of them work great with scraps.
These days I make Triangle in a square blocks as Leaders and Enders, I just sew them in groups of four every time.
One of the favourite quilts I've made was a group effort. Nine of us each made one block when we met at a bi-monthly group. The blocks were all shuffled in a carrier bag and one pulled out and that person gets to take all the blocks home and make the quilt. The star blocks we made were all pink and I set them on point on a black background and quilted stars with pink thread. Simple but a favourite!
I think my favorite quilt changes with each new project! I always fall in love with every new quilt I make. But, I think the favorite quilt that I have kept so far is a hole in the barn door quilt.
I love your quilts...a friend linked me up to you. My favorite quilt has been a baby quilt using Densye Schmidt's Cog & Wheel pattern...just something different.
Once again a wonderful quilt, thanks!!!
My favorite of your quilt is Orange Crush and I want to start it soon, between what I made my prefered is a feathered stars quilt that I made this Christmas.
My favorite quilt is ALWAYS the one I'm working on right now! Currently I have a scrap quilt-as-you-go king-size quilt in progress using Valentine, pink, and red fabrics, all from my stash.
This is an adorable quilt Bonnie, thank you so much for sharing! Ohhh, and love the new look on your blog, you're right, it's so you!
*hugs*
Tazzie
:-)
My favorite so far has been a cute pinwheel baby quilt that a friend asked me to make her as a shower gift. The colors worked out beautifully. However, I think my real favorite is yet to come. Thanks, Bonnie!
Thanks a lot for sharing all these scrappy quilts with us.
Love your quilt!
I've only just realised how little yellow I have in my stash! - I'll have to remedy that!
My fave quilt is always my current quilt!
- at the moment a kaleidoscope quilt
Oh my!! This quilt is just lovely, as are all of your quilts. Can't wait to make it, (along with most of your other new ones). It is nearly impossible to choose a favorite, but one of my favorites is Double Delight along with Orange Crush.
Wilma in NY
wow another great scrap quilt, thanks for sharing! Can't wait to see what you come up with next.
I think my favorite quilt is the one currently being worked on, although I really love a brown lap sized quilt I made years ago on a challenge with my quilt group. We were supposed to use at least 50% brown, the least favorite color of the group. Now it is probably a favorite of mine! Who knew?
My favorite quilt is the first one I ever started (and finished about 15 years later) - my cathedral window quilt. I would love to win your book!
Oh, another one of your great quilts. I love the yellow in it. My favorite quilt is a quilt I made for my son with Wild Cats fabrics. No pattern just designing as the quilt grew and of course I had to solve several out of fabric problems. But the quilt came out great.
My favorite is one I recently finished I call little stars. The one I'm working on now is a double 9 patch with cheddar. I think it's my new favorite.
hi Bonnie,
once again, you pleased us with a new, free pattern! I have to confess, I'm not a yellow person, but this quilt is shining .... Maybe I have to go and buy some yellow fabrics soon.
Can' wait to meet you in February
Brigitte
I am loving this one too Bonnie, I'm on your blog every day. My co-worker just donated 15 shirts to me with more to come. Can't wait to get started. It's like being in a candy store.
Love this one too Bonnie, have to get the printer fired up and make a copy. Will spend this cold weekend in the warm sewing room working on RRCB.
My favorite quilt is a complicated one I made as a BOM at the LQS. It has a lot of mitered corners that I love to make. :)
I enjoy your blog & books, and took a class with you 2 yrs ago! Such fun!!
Can't wait to see your new book!
I can remember sitting next to my great grandmother while she took apart a piece of clothing so it could be "re-used". My job was to take off the buttons and sort them into the many containers she had - I luckily have most of them now. My favorite quilt is the Postage Stamp pattern - it uses so many fabrics, that it becomes a memory/eye-spy quilt and you truly wrap yourself in the love of so many. Thank you for a great post and give away-
wow- talk about ESP. Thursday night I was dragging my son through thrift stores here in Columbia SC :-) , telling him about you and how to choose shirts.
One of my favorite quilts is the pinwheel, red/white and blue one I made for one of my twin sisters. She really loves it and the pinwheels were fun to make too. Now I need to make one for the "other" twin as she is jealous! lol
thanks for the lovely giveaway.
OOOOh. I think I'm gonna make this one
Thanks for another great pattern. I enjoyed reading your post over on Stash Manicure. There I told you about My favorite quilt being a purple one with Unicorns. My second favorite quilt is a scrap quilt made from a free pattern Judy L offered. I love it becuase in it our scraps from pants and pillows I had made for my kids when they were small. Thank you for the giveaway.
I visited the stash manicure site. My favorite quilt in your trunk show (which by the way was fantastick) was the Holy Toledo one. I live 25 miles south of Toledo. It will be the first quilt I make out of your new book! I loved the mystery quilt Roll, Roll, Cotton Boll too! Keep on quilting.
Another beautiful quilt, thanks Bonnie. I guess my favorite is a 3-d applique quilt I made for a guild challenge. Just for giggles I was wondering if you changed the 59 yellow cornerstones to all, say, red, what would it look like.
As with children, can't own up to having a favorite quilt. However, my favorite recycled fabric quilt was the one I made using father in law's necktie and shirt scraps as a memory quilt for my mother in law after he passed. That reminds me, I still have a couple of bags of his shirts that need to be used!
My favorite quilt? Probably the one I'm working on at the moment... *lol* I've not been quilting long and while most of the completed quilts have been the "buy all the fabrics" type, scrappy quilts fascinate me. I'm looking forward to making more of those... once I build my scrap collection sufficiently!
this is just want I want to do..I need another scrap quilt and you have given me many!!Thanks for you time, knowledge and fun!
Another fabulous scrappy quilt to add to my list of your quilts to stitch. Still mid stream with my latest favourite quilt- you RRCB.
Great work.
It would be so hard to pick a favourite! One of my top picks would be my apple core quilt. I think it may have been the first quilt that I hand-pieced. It is a charm quilt, so every piece is a different fabric. I hand-quilted it with some wool batting. This batting was really an unknown from a mill store, bad stuff, so when I washed it it turned into a big bearded mess! I ended up frogging it and requilting it...hence the name "twice as nice"!
Another favourite is your Carolina Crossroads! It is in the main room and seems to be a real "go-to" quilt when someone is ready to curl up and watch tv!
Thankyou so much for the bonus pattern! My favorite quilt ever is my Old Tobacco Road made from your mystery, but I stuffed up the coloring and rather than unpick it I ran with it, changed the bricks to squares, and I just love it, we sleep under it on our bed every night!
Hi Bonnie
I think I don't have a quilt that I didn't like to do, but one of my favorites is "Happy Scrappy Houses"-it was one of the first quilts I did and I had a lot of fun!
Hugs
Carla Fraga
Your quilts are so inspiring! I am SO enjoying RRCB!!! The quilt I made that has become my favorite is actually of the art quilt type. It's a 3-D poppy, made from a photo of one that grew in my garden when we lived in NW Ohio. I had the privilege of being documented in the Alliance for American Quilts Save our Stories project and have this quilt photographed there with me, so I'm pleased that it can be shared with others.
My MOST favorite quilt that I've made is a baby quilt. Someone sent me a box chuck-a-lucka full of 1 1/2" strips, old and frayed and scrunched up. I lovingly pressed them all out and made a beautiful baby quilt from them. I just saw the quilt last month and it has weathered it's first year well!! My instructions, when I gift a quilt, are to USE IT! I make my quilts to be used.
Although it's hard to choose, I think my favorite quilt that I have made is the Scrappy Sampler quilt I made for my oldest son for his H.S. graduation. He chose the focus fabric and I went from there. Turned out great!
Love your "Kiss in the Corner" quilt. Blue and yellow were my wedding colors. Thanks again for sharing your creativity.
WOW Bonnie! I love it. Thanks for the giveaway, I have already order ST2 and Tonya book, but would love to have a second book for my daughter.
Deb
My most favorite quilt was a BOM from Moda University. It is my favorite because it was one of my first machine quilted quilts. It took me forever and several times I wanted to throw it away but it turned out really nice and now I love it!
Hi Bonnie looking forward to the new quilt design. I must tell you until I found you about a year ago I was not into scrappy quilts and now I just love them. I am in the process of doing "Roll, Roll Cotton Boll' and having so much fun with it that I would say it is my favorite at this time. Thanks for all you have done and opening my eyes with your gorgeous quilts. I would love to receive your book and look forward to many more....thanks Sharon
One of the nicest things you do is share your patterns, then, you go one stem farther and include the "printer friendly" copies! I've just added "Kiss the Corners" to my "to do" list. Love you! I love the way you inspire me! Would also love a signed copy of you book!
My favorite quilt? In all honesty it would have to be the one I made based on your String Quilt Primer directions back in 2008. I was under a tremendous amount of stress that fall and winter and knew quilting would be the only way I could get through it. I started sewing the string blocks at random not knowing what I was going to do with them - I just had to SEW. As I kept going, the thought came to me, "These blocks look like a variation on a Crazy Quilt." and then it hit me, "No! These aren't Crazy Quilt blocks! They are SANITY QUILT blocks!!" And thus my new quilt project was born and completed and it graces our bed to this day. It also gave birth to the name of my quilt blog. So, although I have many, many favorites, the quilt I feel the most emotional attachment to is the one that helped me keep my sanity and it was created from you String Quilt Primer. I absolutely LOVE all of your creative works :)
I LOVE this pattern!! A new destination for my leaders & enders!!!

Thank you so much for sharing this fabulous quilt. There's a Salvation Army store a block away, and I must begin weekly visits! My favorite quilt I made years ago--it was pieced and appliqued large butterfly blocks which I did quilt as you go--and go it did--traveling and moving with me from Alabama to California and all the way to Belgium before I finished it and sent it to my mother in Ohio.
Thank you for another pattern for another beautiful Bonnie quilt. Congratulations on your new book, I can't wait to add it to my collection.
thanks for another great lesson Bonnie - I check Stash Manicure also so left a comment there too. I have never done much GoodWill shopping as the smell of the cleaners or whatever in the local shop bother me but I think I will brave the place again to look for oversize shirts :)
I would love a chance at your book.

Oh I have been so excited about this quilt coming out today! I love scrap quilts and your designs remind me so much of my great grandmother's quilting. I never met her but I am currently hand quilting one of her tops for my mother. She just used what she had, and if she ran out of a fabric she jus threw something else in there. Nothing was matchy/matchy!!
I love traditional blocks made with fabric that enchances the design rather than muddles all together. I love log cabins...the scrappier the better
My very first large quilt was a double wedding ring that had a star in the middle of each ring. It was hard but turned out beautiful. But the reason I loved it the most was because it was for my sister and quilted by: my mom, dad, grandmother, sister, husband, and daughter. This is a quilt she said she would treasure forever. Thanks again Bonnie for your wonderful quilt design.

Another great quilt! you're amazing. My favorite quilt that is used almost daily is one of your designes that my quilty sisters and I swapped fabrics to mix up our collective stashes. We made the pineapple blossem at a retreat. We now all have the same quilt but they all look amazing!
This is lovely, Bonnie. Congrats on getting your next book printed. Glad to call you a friend.
Love the new quilt. it is on my list when I finish RRCB. Which I think is going to be my favorite quilt. I am enjoying it. It is really hard to decide a favorite quilt. I love them all. Thanks for all the hard work you do.
Bonnie - I loved your trunk show over at Stash Manicure - and thank you for sharing Kiss in the Corner with us!
Good Morning Bonnie,
My favorite quilt is my scrappy log cabin. I love to point out the different fabrics to friends and recall from where they came from.
Love your quilts and style. Love the the reuse of fabric and character it brings to the quilt.
Blessings to you and yours.
Bonnie, you've done it again - another fabulous quilt. You are amazing!
Loved your new book and thanks so much for the Kis pattern. Have a great time in Lincoln, wish I could be there.
Still plugging away at RRCB! You make it so hard to not start a new project. Would love to win a copy of your new book. Great job with your post on Stash Mancure.
Thanks for the new pattern. Love the yellow. My fav quilt (although not completed yet) is absolutely RRCB.
Hmm, favorite quilt...We'll I love the one's that I made for my boys. But I think my favorite would be my spiderweb quilt. I love all the little bits of memories.
Have happy and safe travels.
I named a favorite over at Stash Manicure, but I really love them all! :-) Learning to love scrappy quilts -- and have pledged to make a bunch in 2011~~ :-)
Blessings!
Mary Lou
It's not the quilts themselves that are my favorites it's the memories that they bring to mind as I think about each and every one of them.
Bonnie, your site and your quilts have given me a great appreciation for scrap quilts. RRCB was the very first mystery that I participated in that I actually like! I plan to make a coupe of your prior mysteries and some of your other patterns. Small pieces and challenging = LOVE IT!!!
Karen
karensplaceontheweb@me.com
I participated in the Orange Crush Mystery Quilt several years ago. Instead of using your color choices, I dove into a huge collection of chocolate browns I had accumulated. I was very skeptical that my color choice would work out, but I wound up being THRILLED with the result! To the browns I added minty greens and confectionery pinks - the quilt looks like a tray of designer chocolates! The whole process gave me a lot more confidence my ability to choose and mix colors in a quilt...and I thank you for that!!
My fav quilt is always the one I'm working on. RRCB is turning out lovely. I'm working on the border which is my first pieced border. Thanks to you and the mystery probably my prettiest quilt. Still working on the double delight. It needs a border. Shirley
Fun post and tutorial. Makes me want to find some scraps!!
Usually my favorite quilt is whatever I am currently working on. Today it is a Single Irish Chain made from 400 3" nine-patch blocks I made as leader-enders. Tomorrow it will be a sampler of barn quilts my son saw in NC. Thanks for the give-away opportunity.
My favorite quilt I ever made was a charm quilt using 1089 different fabrics obtained in a quilt guild charm square exchange. I will link you up to a picture of it when I win the book.
Would love to win one of your books. My favorite quilt right now is a blazing star made with Texas wildflower fabrics.
I'm sitting here thinking and thinking. I love most of the quilts that I've made. So hard to choose a favorite. My friend Pat Wys has a pattern called Strawberry Pie that I've made several times and would make again. I'll call that one my favorite. Congratulations on your new book! My bee group has used several of your patterns from your website for our fabric trade. I'm currently working on Patches and Pinwheels. Gorgeous quilt!
Thank you for sharing so many wonderful patterns with quilters all over the world :-).
My favorite quilt I've ever made isn't actually finished yet...! It's your RRCB! I've never done a scrappy quilt before, and I adore it!! The colors, the pattern, the movement. Can't wait for spring break from nursing school to be able to get some more piecing done!
Bonnie, loved your article over on Stash Manicure. And thank you for the Kiss in the Corner quilt pattern. I appreciate your sharing of the 'art' of scrap quilting.
Bonnie, I love your quilts. I have both of your books and look forward to adding the new one to my collection. Last year was my first time to attend the Sister's Quilt show...would have loved to had a Bonnie Hunter encounter....maybe this coming year! I have been gathering my fabrics to make the Sister's Quilt. I see in your new book that you have a Oregon themed quilt...another one for my wish list. Thanks for all the beautiful patterns and ideas that you give us.
Thank you Bonnie! It's so generous of you to feed our addiction. ;-)
If I looked at that quilt and not the directions, I would never think I could make it. But your directions are step by step and make it seem so much easier than it first appears. Thank you for that. Now I can look at it and think, "This is doable". I am in the process of making a quilt for each of my children and my grandchildren. As I make each one I am constantly thinking of that person so each one is my favorite as I make it because it makes me feel close to the person I am making it for. Thank you for all you do Bonnie.
My favorite is the first quilt I made for my middle son. He bought himself a queen size bed and bemoaned the fact that he could no longer sleep under it, as he had EVERY NIGHT for about 5 yrs. He was in his mid 20's at the time.
Congratulations on the new book Bonnie! I can't wait to add it to my collection. And once again, thank you for your incredible generosity. Love this new quilt!!!
Sue
It's a really hard decision to make. It's like someone asking me to choose which child or grandchild is my favorite. I like all the quilts I have made. If I have to choose a favorite I guess it would be the first one I made. That was over 15 years ago. It is a scrappy basket quilt that I hand quilted. It took me what seemed like forever to finish it. It's a nice size for napping and lives on the back of a chair in our family room.
I also want to thank you for being so generous in sharing your quilt patterns with us.
lraetaylor@gmail.com
My favorite quilt that I made this last year was the Crabapple quilt. Thanks for the chance to win a copy of Shirttails II.
Thank you for this free pattern. I love this quilt! Keep quilting and designing patterns!!
Oh, this is easy! I made my DHs crazy quilt out of his old clothes..check out the Rags to Riches post 11/24/10 at Stash Manicure and you'll see it. Best thing, he loves it and we get to keep it instead of giving it away. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity.
Ooh I love this one too! I just need to quit doing everything else and quilt all day long! Do you think the hubby and kids would mind if I quit cooking and cleaning?
Would love to have your new book. I have made all your mystery quilts, and I love them all, especially Orange Crush because it opened my eyes to the use of color. I also enjoyed the first one, Carolina Crossroads, was so proud of all the pieces in it. I have made some others from your blog and appreciate your generosity and talent. Beryl bredf331@comcast.net
My favorite quilt is the first one I made ... a log cabin quilt done in a barn-raising setting ... for my daughter when she was 6 1/2. I started that a Saturday night in February, 1982. I intended to work until bedtime but I fell in love with the process of cutting and piecing so much that I stayed up all night to work on that quilt. It's now been so loved and so used that it's almost worn out ... but I make my quilts to be used and loved so that quilt has achieved its purpose.
Bonnie, I love this pattern! And am hoping to get this one in the queue sometime this year. Picking a favorite quilt is so tough, but I'd have to pick two - one is my daughter's college quilt done in cool jewel tones with a 5 foot dolphin appliqued on it (Karen Brow's pattern), or my dad and stepmom's saw tooth star quilt made out of the leftovers from pillowcases that I sewed for all the members of our family for one Holden Beach Reunion.
Wow! I really need to make this one too! All these new projects! Who needs to study for the bar? I need to quilt!!!!
You have such great ideas and so much energy! I love your scrappy quilts! Scrappy is my favorite! You are so wonderful to share with us!
This is a repeat of my comment at Stash Manicure...My favorite quilt is my DHs Crazy Quilt I made from his old clothes that is shown my post at Stash Manicure (11/24/10- Rags to Riches). Of course, I love all my quilts while I am making them, but this one we get to keep!
I just discovered your blog yesterday. I love the Roll, Roll Cotton Boll quilt. I've been wanting to try string piecing and now I have a great project to try it on. Query? Do you use the treadle I saw in your pictures of your quilt space? I've made place mats and table runners on one of mine so far. Now to make a full size quilt on one (I have 3 treadles).
Bonnie,
The quilts in the book are gorgeous. Thank you so much for sharing! I am looking forward to receiving the copy I ordered.... and maybe this one which would be a great donation to guild.
You are incredible!
Hugs!
I love your quilts! I visited Stash Manicure and can't wait to get a copy of your new book.
My favorite quilt right now has to be a Winding Ways that I made out of flannels several years ago. The absolute best for snuggling on the couch in single digit weather!
Bari
Your work is totally amazing and gorgeous ! thanks for the chance to win your book ! I haven't made that many quilts yet ; my favorite was a pinwheel quilt I made for my sister for Christmas . I have MUCH to learn , but having a blast doing it ! thanks again !
Great giveaway! I'm a new quilter and so far my favorite quilt that I've made was a Halloween one for my daughter. She helped pick out the fabric and pattern.
Here you go AGAIN!!! Another treasure hidden in our scraps just waiting to come alive!!! You are the midwife of the scrap pile constantly birthing new quilts!!! Thank you again and again for your generosity.
Hi! I told you about the favorite quilt I made in 2010 on the Stash Manicure blog, and I wanted to share my other self-designed quilt on this one. (Does it count, though, if it's only half-wayfinished?) I appliqued a center panel that features a French medieval couple, which a I adapted from a 12th-century illumination. A metallic gold border frames this panel. Above and below it are panels featuring the coat of arms for my husband's and my family names (both British in origin). The corners and sides of the quilt feature cross blocks in a neat medieval-type pattern. It's all taking far longer than I thought it would because I decided it would be wonderful to work it up in stained-glass style. Egads!!! There are miles and miles of "leading" to sew on! I get sick of it after a while and have to put it away to work on something else, but boy, am I going to LOVE it when it's finally finished!
I am amazed at your talent with scraps, and can't wait to work up some of your designs with the growing stash of little pieces that I've never been able to toss out. I'm very glad now that I'm a hoarder of left-overs that others have always scoffed at me for keeping! heee - won't they be jealous? ;D
I love the "Kisses in the corner" quilt! Thanks so much Bonnie for another wonderful quilt! My favorite quilt is the one I made for my daughter about a year ago. It is bright pink and neon green and is the first time I tried to do my own design. It was so much fun working outside the traditional style!
Meg
Any scrappy quilt is a favorite of mine. I am trying to finish a queen size with over 130 fabrics in it. I would love to win your book and learn about recycling fabrics - I keep hearing about the price increase for cotton, and it worries me.....I need to find an alternative way to keep finding new fabrics!
I love your patterns and follow your blog daily...sure miss you when you go on a trip, either a "just for fun" or "working" trip!
My favorite quilt has got to be the one I helped my then 8 year old granddaughter do for her soon to arrive baby sister.
It was completely sewn on her new "Barbie" sewing machine! Talk about a learning experience for Grandma! She was so danged proud of it and it is used daily! It was nothing spetacular, just a large Friendship Star and the fabrics were kind of washed out, but she picked every one of them by herself. They were "her" colors at the time. :-)

Thanks so much for the quilt pattern, Bonnie. Awesome and you are a very generous person. My favorite was my first, Oak Leaves, made way back in 1992.
I already replied over on Stash Manicure- my fav quilt is the one I gave my husband. So how about my second favorite quilt? It's basically a giant log cabin in bright colors- it's on my side of the bed in winter, and spring and fall i take it everywhere (the park, school, you name it) because I never know when I'll end up being chilly, and at 52" square, this one is big enough to keep me warm but small enough to be portable. Thanks for yet another pattern, but now I have more temptation (oh, darn).
That is, usual :)an awesome looking quilt. You are one talented woman!!! Thank you for sharing with us. My favourite quilt is one I made about eight years ago. I was recovering from carpel tunnel operations on both my hands, when I decided to design a foundation pieced wall hanging for my partner. I taught myself how to foundation piece, then designed and made it. It took a long time, as I did not have a lot of coordination in my hands and I had to rest them. The look on my partner's face made me feel like a world famous quilter. That was the first of many quilts I've made for my partner and definitely the most special. It still hangs in the lounge and is loved by both of us as much as the day it was created.
Bonnie, I'm a fairly new quilter, so most of my quilts are 'trial & error' learning quilts. I love the one I'm working on! My two favorites are both Mystery Quilts - one I did by hand and still is only the top, and the other was a Mystery Quilt done at a 4 day camp the first year I started quilting. It was a WOW, I REALLY DID THAT! type of pattern - I would never had chosen it if I saw how it ended up.
After discovering your site and doing RRCB...I have decided to make my stash go down and make everyone quilts for Christmas this year (good thing I came up with idea in January :0)
Also, my two youngest sons are in the Air Force and Army. They have strict orders not to throw away old uniforms! I plan on making a quilt with them some day.
My favorite quilt is a 9 patch I made for my 97 year old Gramma before she passed away. She couldn't see well so she hugged and fellt the quilt.
Thanks again Bonnie for all your inspiration!
I loved reading your post on Stash Manicure. The quilts are all georgous, and then the bonus quilt on your blog! WOW! Thanks, Bonnie! Debbie in WV
Hi Bonnie, love your new book; can't wait to get a copy. I have your first book. I just love all of the scrappy quilts. Always liked the idea of using up all the little leftovers from sewing projects.
My favorite quilt is the one I made with leftover scraps from a little dress when my daughter was 2 or three years old [cotton fabric was 4 yards for a dollar] 30 years ago. At that time, there were no rotary cutters; each piece was cut out separately. But I love recycling fabric then.
Love your website & blog. Congrats on your new book...keep them coming.
I have only made one yellow quilt, but you may have just convinced me to give it a go again. Nice project and good tips. ANd, thanks for the chance at more inspiration. I would love a book!
Favorite quilt? That's like asking which is my favorite child ... love something different about each one and I love all of your too! Thanks for the chance to add the new book to my library.
Bonnie, the quilts in the new book are GORGEOUS!! as usual. I appreciate all that you do and one day I hope that you make it to my neck of the woods so that I can actually meet you. Good luck in all of your travels
Michelle
Oh, Bonnie, another quilt to love and want to make. I'm finishing up my favorite quilt, Nearly Insane by making up my own blocks....when I finish I am on to Roll Cotton Boll and then Kiss in the Corner. I love scrappy quilts, too and I would love a book :)
Donna Chapman donnagchapman@yahoo.com
My favorite Bonnie pattern so far has been Carolina Christmas. Loved that quilt!
Terry
dtamato@ncn.net
Carolina Christmas and Old Tobacco Road are my most favorite quilts so far and soon to be replaced I am sure by the new book and all those lucious new patterns. Awesome giveaway and I would love to win this book from Bonnie Hunter. Judy C in NC at www.judyandmartyn@nc.rr.com
I love this quilt!Another one for my to do list...I can never die! LOL
Bonnie-
I had never made a quilt when I ordered both of your first two books! I immediately fell in love with the Chunky Churndash pattern and made my first quilt top. I have other leaders and enders in process now and my 10-year old granddaughter is 'hooked' on the same. She is even critiquing my cutting techniques and we are both beginners!!! Love your work and love your books! Thank you for all of the inspiration!!! Sue & Andrea
Congratulations on your Stash Manicure posting! One of my favorite quilts has crumb pieced blocks alternating with plain blocks. I have your first two books and would love to win a copy of your third one!
I'm loving the bonus quilt that didn't make the book :o)
Linda
This is a beautiful quilt, Bonnie! I LOVE yellow because it is so happy. My favorite quilt I have made is my Dear Jane, but it is not finished yet..so much of life is sewn into that quilt since 2004. I have a special notebook for the quilts you have designed and love every one of them. Thank you for giving us so much! I also have every one of your books and will buy this new one too.
I like this new pattern very much. You are so talentet. I have both books and like to win the new one. Please count me in.
Greeting Guilitta
I LOVE this one... but my favorite that I have made so far, is "Blue Ridge Beauty".
I love your scrap user's system... it has really made my studio much more organized, and I try to always have a "Leaders and Enders" project going while I am working on something else.
I can't wait to see this new book!!!
Thanks for another great pattern! My favorite quilts are definitely scrappy...but it's hard to pick just one. I guess my favorite is still the first one I ever made completely from my stash! It was so satisfying making something from what I already had, almost like it was a free quilt! Thanks for a chance to win your book!
A favorite quilt that I made was a Double Wedding Ring for my daughter and son-in-law. My MIL hand quilted it for them. I worked on it while in treatment for breast cancer 12 years ago! It hangs in their livingroom and brings back memories each time I visit. It is in blues and yellows and I can see making one for myself of the shirt scraps you've addicted me to!
Congratulations on your new book and thanks for all the inspiration you provide!
Hi Bonnie! My favorite quilt continues to be my first ever made. It was for my daughter who is now 24 and it is still affectionately named "Mommy Blanket"....Two backings and three bindings later she is still going strong!
Thanks for all of your wonderful patterns. Looking forward to your new book and would love to be included in the drawing. Thanks Again.
I obsess on the quilt I'm making at the time! I just love, love the quilts I'm working on. My all time favorite is one of the first flannels. It's warm and comfortable and reminds me what a great craft I'm doing. Thanks for the recent mystery.
Another great scrap quilt Bonnie (how do you keep coming up with them all?)!
Hmmm, hard to pick a favorite but I'd have to say in the Stash Manicure/Scraps and Shirtails vein it would be the first flannel quilt I made with Kansas Troubles blocks made from plaid Garment Center sample throwaways that my DH got for me. That started a snuggly love of flannel quilts.
Would love to win the new book (to add to the other two) but I'll still be buying it if I don't!
Oh WOW Bonnie !!!! I hurrying to finish up my scrappy irish chain so I can do the RRCB and now this "Kiss"...There is no end to your glorious ideas...thank goodness !!!
I would LOVE an autographed copy of your new book....I think you are the best.
Thank you for all the inspiration, hints, tips and quilts.
Judi in Mississippi
Hi! Love the pictures from the new book and the new pattern. My favorite quilt was my first BH mystery, Carolina Crossroads. It was amazing how all the THOUSANDS of little pieces came together to make one beautiful quilt. And I would have never attempted it if I had seen all the instructions up front. Taking it one little piece at a time made it seem like something I could tackle! Thanks for the patterns and inspiration!
Love the "kiss in corner" One of my favorites is the "Trip Around the World" I need to dig into my scraps again. You have really inspired me. Congrats on the new book.
Gorgeous quilt - I love the yellow! My favorite quilt I've made is my Super Bowl Bargello. That will soon change, though, when I finish my Roll, Roll, Cotton Bowl. It's going to be awesome! Thanks for all the wonderful patterns.
My favorite quilt is Carolina Christmas. It is on my bed and reminds me every day that I can do impossible things!
Kathy in Ohio
It is SO fun to see what all the little "peaks" you have given over the last while have turned into...I totally remember thinking that triangle border was insane and there is NO WAY I would make it. Well you have me thinking that I just might have to make it...triangles or not...After RRCB, I vowed NO MORE STRINGS...well, again after seeing the quilt. You have me thinking I might have to. Cudos to you. I am sure your book will be a success.
Bonnie,
Thanks for the great pattern. I love yellow so I definately want to make this one. I recieved your second book for Christmas (I already had the first) and love it. Can't wait for the third to come out.
You can bet that I will be on the look-out at all the neat places you mention, for good cotton items to be used for my scrappy quilts.
I would love to win a copy of your new book or any of your books,
Please, please pick me!
Marie
Another winner, Bonnie! Sure is cute!
My favorite is a version of a ribbon twist. I love, love your blog and the concept of leaders-and-enders. Most of the time my l&e are two different quilts, but I'm starting to have enough scraps to start a scrap quilt. I just have to pick the perfect one from your site...or the new book! :)
Hi Bonnie, You are my inspiration. I am known as the "Scrap Queen" in my small, informal quilt group. Most of my friends save all their scraps for me but now some are starting to realize they can save their own scraps and get large quilts made from the scraps. I would love to be the chosen to have a signed copy of your new book. As for my favorite quilt I really don't have one but if the quilt is made of scraps that is usually my favorite until I make a new scrappy quilt. Thanks for the giveaway!!
Love this quilt and congratulations on your book..thank you for the giveaway..
Thank you so much for the opportunity to receive one of your books. My favorite quilt has to be a scrappy 9 patch/ hourglass with an appliqued border and hand quilted. I must thank you for finally finding a way to use scraps from years of working at a quilt shop , making scrub tops for daughter and pjs for grankids. I seemed to have novelty fabric coming out my ears. Now you have shown me to look at the color and not the design. I have Betty boop eyes in the latest RRCB. Thanks again Ceil in Florida
Bonnie,
My favorite quilt is from your Crayon Box pattern. It's what got me started quilting! I made it for my husband to replace an old, tattered quilt made by his great-grandmother. I see another pattern in the new book I want to make. Maybe a new favorite!
Thanks for all the great ideas and inspiration!
kjkelser@netscape.net
My favorite quilt is always the one I just finished. In this case a quilt for my little great nephew. One of my favorite patterns that I want to do is your pineapple blossom quilt. I love how it is formed. You are such an inspiration. I love your tutorials. Always so clear. Great job, girl.
Oh My I have to find some lovely yellows I like this one too. I like scrappy quilts and hope to one day be bale to make a few. Thanks for sharing your world with us all today and everyday! Patty
Thanks for the letting us have a look into your new book, what great quilts we have to look forward to. Scrap quilts are by far my favorite and those I have made for my kids top the list. I would love to win a signed copy of your book, but if I don't I know I will be ordering one soon. Thanks again for what you have given to the quilt community.
I loved your first book and now would love to have your 2nd one. Sure looks wonderful.
Thanks so much and Happy New Year
Lyn
Love Kisses in the Corner and all your other wonderful quilts. Scrappy Quilts are just so warm, neat and show the true heritage of quilting. Thanks for everything Bonnie

I love this quilt. All the action that is going on in it. My favorite quilt seems to be the one that I am currently working on. As soon as I get that one done, I am off to another one, and it becomes "my favorite". Silly answer, but true! I am going to print off the directions and then try to figure out a way to cut the components of this quilt as I work on other tops!! Thank you for another GREAT pattern!!
I think my favorite quilt i ever made was for my dad. I used your Bargin Basement pattern and added pictures of my sister and I on fabric. It was a beautiful quilt and he loved it!
My favorite quilt is a spider web scrap quilt that I just finished. It has pieces of most of my other projects, and the back is scraps of flannel given to me by my friend.
Bonnie, you never cease to amaze me. I love how EVERY single time I see the close ups of your blocks-in-progress, I'm always a bit taken aback by how bizarre some of the fabrics are, and then EVERY time I see the finished quilt, I'm amazed (but really not surprised at all) that it all ends up looking super fantastic! Love this one's illusion of circles.
I'm so far behind on Cotton Boll I'll just have to print this one and save it for a rainy scrappy day! Thanks, Bonnie
Jan
What a gorgeous quilt! Can't wait to see the new book. Usually the quilt I'm working on is my favorite. Some of my antique quilts that family members made are also favorites. Dori
My favorite quilt is probably the one I made for my Dad years ago. Although, the Maxine quilt I just made for my Mother is extremely close behind.
Bonnie - I love it! Have to see if I can start collecting some yellows, not a fav or mine, but you might be changing that! Kathy O
My favorite quilt that I have made may just be one of the first--your Sister's Choice. Thanks for all the patterns and help you give everyone.
I don't have a favorite quilt, I have several! One that I really like is made from fabric I was told wouldn't work for Stack-N-Whack. I loved the fabric and tried it anyway. I love the way it turned out. I have two quilts that are made with scrappy blocks swapped with friends. Those are very special quilts also. Thanks for the pattern and for the opportunity to win your new book!
Thank you, Bonnie! What a very creative person you are and we are so lucky that you share that talent! Your new book looks stupendous!!
Another winner quilt!!! I don't know where you find all the time to produce so many but am really, really glad that you do. I'm saving the pattern (with many others) until I complete my current project.
I gave my version of Carolina Christmas (called it Carolina Sunshine) to my DIL. She loves it and I love the smile on her face.
Nancie R -- Houston, TX
Newbie here - not got a finished quilt yet, but an almost finished wallhanging - love the colors in it.
My favorite quilt that I have made is probably a winter applique quilt because it was the first quilt that I ever made. I love quilting. I have enjoyed the mystery quilts that you share every year.
So excited about saving this pattern!
Working on my favorite quilt now. My sister-in-law in Missouri wanted to visit during my surgery 2 years ago, but couldn't. She sent me a bundle of fat quarters to veer me up, but, with the nature of the surgery, I couldn't wash & cut the fabric. Life has been crazy of late, but working on my Missouri scrap quilt has kept me sane during these tough financial times. I feel surrounded by her love.
Thank YOU, Bonnir, for keeping us motivated. I'm expecting my Leaders & Enders book to arrive in the mail today :)
Love this!! I'm going out on a yellow scavenger hunt today. Just the thing to brighten up a dreary, snowy day. Thanks for the pattern and that lovely book!!
My favorite quilt is a churn dash quilt. Sometimes simple is better...just love that old-fashioned block.
Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful quilt!! I am currently putting the blocks together (finally!) for Double Delight, and am really enjoying the process. My all time favorite quilt that I made would be one for my son when he was small--each block represents something he loved, from his favorite stuffed bunny to Jeff Gordon's race car to his dog. I love the memories that it brings back of a time that went by all too quickly! The quilts in your new book are beautiful!!
