Where Is She Now?!?

It’s 9am where I am! That means 3 hours ago I was in Greensboro, NC!

lv2010 001

But WHERE am I now?!? Any guesses? Does THIS help you??

lv2010 004

How bout THIS!?

If you haven’t guessed by now…..maybe THIS will tell you:

lv2010 002

I’m on my way to SOMEWHERE! And some of you THINK I might be going to a particular place, but you might be wrong because some plans have changed!

This is short…but was funny!

I sat next to a guy who was so rocking into his music that he actually played AIR GUITAR with both hands while reclining in his seat! Disappointed smile I didn’t know how to catch him in full action, but I was listening to my ipod, and remembered that it has a camcorder in it. I think you can get 9 seconds of his hands moving, and a whole lot of oops..that’s hexagons! I was trying to be discreet! But it was SO funny. Is there such a thing as inappropriate public display of air guitar? Though come to think of it he seemed to go between drums and cymbals and guitar as well.

Maybe he thought the same thing of me. Is quilting an appropriate public display? PDQ! Public Displays of Quilting! Too fun….

So, I’m sitting here going through mail, listening to my own music on my own ipod, stitching more hexagons and waiting for the next leg of this trip! Any ideas yet? Are you curious?!

On another side note, I got an email from someone saying they read my blog in a reader, and it is too hard to read because of the background. I don't know what to say about that because the center column of my blog is white..where the text goes. The inner border is opaque and readable on the blog, the border, well it's a border..so it's how your reader is reading it as to why you have patchwork all over the place and can't read the text. I can suggest two things:

  1. Click to the blog to come read it where it reads beautifully or
  2. highlight the whole post and read it with white letters on a highlighted (highlit?) blue background.
That's all I can think of. I had to change my blog format a bit to comply with blogher, but at the same time I don't want a boring blog! LOL! I am curious to know what readers you are reading in if it is NOT working for you, so feel free to drop me a note if your reader has everything obscured..

Hi Bonnie, I sure don't know where you are going, BUT I do wish I was travelling with you!
Hope you have a great time! Love from sunny South Africa!

Mine looks fine-just as you described it-center is white.
Hope you aren't going anywhere cold & snowy! It's a beautiful day in Hawaii!

The pictures are telling me Chicago, but not sure where you are staying or going. We've flown through O'Hare one too many times traveling from Tokyo to Tampa and back again, and again, and again. There us a McDonalds not too far from the dinosaur exhibit.

I knew it from the dino skeleton. I spent a few flights into Chicago area when my son was in Great Lakes (boot camp and A-school) for the Navy.

Your air guitarist may have picked up one of these:

I read your blog in a reader and everything is fine. So it sounds like an issue specific to his/her reader. Just an FYI.

I don't know where you are going but I will guess Wisconsin.
Your blog is reading fine from my computer.
I wish you were coming here!

I use google reader and the only thing that shows is the title of the blog entry. But that's fine with me, I just click on it and come to your site.

You are one brave woman flying anywhere near Chicago with all of the winter weather in the north. Not a clue where you are or are going, I'll be lurking to see though. Wishing you fair winds and safe skies. :o)

I use Google Reader too and the only thing that shows is the title and the first sentences, and the weird thing is that other people have blogspot blogs that show the whole post photos and all. So I just click and go to your site to read it. But also I have dual monitors and the person who said she can't read it probably meant the side bars. The funny thing is one of my monitors is better quality than the other and the sides that are on the opaque are almost impossible to read on one monitor and they are not bad at all on the other. I can pull the window back and forth. :) The red type just isn't the most contrast and those of us with old eyes just have to do the best we can.

I'll Guess Seattle Washington... Just 'cuz nobody else did...

Your blog does show up with black lettering on a white background, but the links, etc. NEXT to your blog (the "gutter") are all on the scrappy background and very difficult to read. (It appears this way in Firefox and Chrome).

With Internet Explorer, there is a white bar in the middle with black text for your blog entries, and to either side the "gutter" is black. However the typeface is all red or grey which are both very difficult to read against a black background.

Can't wait to see where you are going. I got your L&E book in the mail for my xmas present last week, opened it yesterday and couldn't put it down! Lots of great ideas.

I use google reader but I have that little "next" option loaded on my toolbar, so I never actually open the reader. It goes to the next blog for me. The whole blog. Prettiness and all!

I knew you were in Chicago when I saw that toffee / nuts yellow sign and the glass arch in the airport. While there, you have got to go to GARRETTS POPCORN ... It is BY FAR THE MOST DELICIOUS popcorn you've ever tasted! Ask for the Chicago mix ... cheese & caramel. I was recommended by a guy on a plane our last trip, and OH MY! Was he ever right! He says when he gets off the plane, if he doesn't have 2 bags with him at the curb, his wife drives right on by! A treasure pleasure for your tastebuds!

I have no idea where you are going, but I do hope it is somewhere fun!
For the people with problems reading your blog in a reader. I think you are right suggesting they go to your blog, it is much nicer to read it that way anyway!

I'm guessing you're headed to visit your Mom and other family in Idaho (I think that's the right place). Wherever you're going, have a great time & Merry Christmas! :)

I access your blog through Google Reader, but since you apparently have the blog set for a partial feed (only a title and partial paragraph show in Reader), I have to click to the blog to read it. Your background isn't too bad, but if I'm in a blog with a very busy background or black background with white letters, my computer geek son put an icon on my top bar that I can click and it will change everything to black & white (normal page), which makes reading much easier for me.
