I started making baskets like those a number of years ago and the pattern was called Postage Stamp from Alex Anderson's book "Quilts for Fabric Lovers". The baskets are 4 1/2".

I just finished writing the LAST pattern for the book. I'm breathing a sigh of relief here! I'm packing and getting ready to leave for Hershey..I'm still unsure if I'm leaving tomorrow morning to give myself an extra day up around Lancaster...(oh, I am so sorely tempted!!!) or if I'm going to get up at the bum-crack of dawn on Wednesday and do it all in one shot. It's so nice to be home, I'm a bit reluctant to leave!

Thanks for sharing that little gem! I too, love Billy Connolly and I think I might indulge myself and buy his voice. I currently have Sean (an Irishman) directing me, but I'd love Billy to tell me where to go!

Well if you need some place to stay here in Lancaster Co.... I live just 2.7 miles from Sauders! And the house is still clean from the quilt retreat we had weekend before last. LOL
I'm going to the Hershey show on Saturday... haven't been there since we moved here a couple years ago but have heard good things about it.
Where did you go to massage school?....are you still doing massage ?.... I am a Lic. therapist in ND.

I've been enjoying your basket quilt! Very pretty - especially the "wonky corners".
My DH downloaded several new voices last week...like the R2, the computer from starwars...lots of fun while driving (my favorite is the Boston accent of course!)
