Headed Out!

It's DARK 30! I'm just heading out to Georgia for the South East Dear Jane retreat! I'll be working on my long time pink and brown UFO..."The albatross at sea"...and hope to get it closer to being a finished top. As you can see, the car is packed to the gills!

I'll be doing massage as well!

We are down to the wire on two pending jobs for DH. Corning in Winston-Salem NC has come through with a proposal. We should hear back from Georgia Pacific by this afternoon for the position that is HERE. If he doesn't get it, he will accept the Corning offer. So right now we are 50-50!!

Please send all the positive energy you can in this situation..the stress is killing me, so it's a good thing I'm headed out to go SEW for the weekend. There is nothing else I can do either way, so it's best to put it out of my mind and stay BUSY!

Have a great weekend everyone!

I'll send loads of positive energy. I may be a little biased, but Winston-Salem is a mighty nice place to land... have fun on your DJ weekend.

Bonnie - don't forget to breathe... we are working our way through a crisis involving our younger son, and I so understand what you mean about waiting and wondering (and worrying). Hang in there!!

I'm praying that things work out for the good of all, as they should. I know if you get the job there, you will be happy. If the job takes you to Winston-Salem, you will eventually be happy there too.
I know a jagillion quilty girls in NC would be rooting for the job in W-S, cause we'd like to have you closer, but I'm just praying that it all works out.

Your SUV looks like mine. We're enjoying a "Sew-In" as well.

I understand the stress! At this point I'm usually past caring what the decision is and just ready to know WHERE we'll be living. I hate living in limbo! I'll keep thinking SC, SC, SC....maybe it will help.

I know you really would like to stay exactly where you are so I certainly hope you get your wish. Thankfully, you will have resolution to your situation soon. BTW - Winston-Salem is lovely especially in the fall and winter!

My goodness sakes, woman! You pack a car as full as you do your life! None of us knows ANYONE who does, creates and gives as much as you do! We're all thinking good thoughts for you and your family! May all of the blessings of your life be greater than all of the stressors! And may you continue to live and be happy right where you're planted! hugs from Oregon
