Thanks for the shout out :)

CherieCherie Moorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11070883772810136260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13569819.post-29340213897828747952008-09-15T17:28:00.000-04:002008-09-15T17:28:00.000-04:00I love to quilt in the car when we go on our famil...I love to quilt in the car when we go on our family picnic trips once a month, it is wonderful to stitch adn listen to the five younger ones chatting and looking at the scenery - it is one of my favrourite times.

We are paying $1.55 today for petrol(gas) it is killing us. My husband works in the property industry so there is almost no work either, which menas no pay but still it is a gorgeous day and my efforts at vegetable gardening have now progressed from just being a "hobby" to be vital to our budget. All my funny little money saving habits are now like a "job" rather than mum being quirky.

Is anyone collecting quilts for the hurricane victims?? I thought I would whip up a couple and send them over can I send them to you Bonnie? or is there another organisation collecting them? I just want to make sure they actually get there.

AngelaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12934325999406252726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13569819.post-56527546386844964612008-09-15T17:18:00.000-04:002008-09-15T17:18:00.000-04:00I do the same while my grandson is in preschool. ...I do the same while my grandson is in preschool. I stay in my car, doing my hand quilting or hand piecing while he is inside. I could go back home as it is only 10 minutes away, but that would make a total of 40 minutes on the road to make 2 round trips. Besides, there are no phones in my car--LOL

I'm getting a lot more done than I was taking care of him. I've had him on a average of 4 days a week, 12 hours a day--EXHAUSTING, since he was a month old. Both his parents work, and it's usually a pleasure for me to be able to participate in his life.

The latest quilting is on dinosaur fabrid, outlining the dinosaurs in white quilting. It's going pretty good.

Regards, Peg

Regards, PegUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17700529481250059986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13569819.post-49821943707580395462008-09-15T13:23:00.000-04:002008-09-15T13:23:00.000-04:00You're one busy BEE! :)You're one busy BEE! :)Mrs. Goodneedlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07453388163219666450noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13569819.post-84183954175148478902008-09-15T13:17:00.000-04:002008-09-15T13:17:00.000-04:00Saying *Amen* over gas gouging!
