I have since gotten over my fear of dentists and don't mind going. Your blocks look so nice in the courthouse steps. G.Walker asks the same question I am wondering about. Love the picture of the road through the trees. Such a peaceful place. I wish I had a place like that to take a walk with my little dog Ginger. When I saw yours I thought - what a great way to use up leftover strips. I went ahead and tried making some, but made mine big (12 1/2") to use up more strips. I have some questions about how you make them - such as: do you use short strips and sew them onto blocks one at a time or use a long strip and lay all the blocks on to the strip and speed sew them all at once?? I have lots of short strips to use up which makes the process more fiddley. I also would like to learn more about how to do "webbing". This is something I'm not familiar with. Thank you for sharing this great method for using up scraps!!G. Being a child, I cried because it really hurt. He slapped me. My mom gave him a big piece of her mind when she found out. Beautiful quilt. Have fun with your friend and keep getting better.Karen from Texashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16179681807200521370noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13569819.post-56398146160906329782019-09-20T02:03:36.110-04:002019-09-20T02:03:36.110-04:00Hey guys, you are all so lucky, here in South Afri...Hey guys, you are all so lucky, here in South Africa we are going into summer. I live on the East Coast and it not just hot, hot, hot here in summer (most of the winter too) it is HUMID too!! I permanently sit in a puddle, cannot acclimatise even though I have lived here for 6 years now. Luckily being able to see the ocean from my house, in front of my sewing machine, makes up for the discomfort. Every year I envy your snow pictures and wish I was there! Enjoy your winter and colder weather! Kenya is going to be very hot for those lucky travellers. Much love from Africa!!Hennettahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14687008762425180113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13569819.post-88222144807677663162019-09-19T21:23:14.215-04:002019-09-19T21:23:14.215-04:00I want so much to sit and sew with you but have no...I want so much to sit and sew with you but have not been able to get my head together <br /> I sat by my sweet brothers bed after i touched his cheek and kissed his forehead and told him that i love him. I sat down and watched him breathing easy for the first time in a couple of years. I finally realized that it did not look as though he was breathing. I asked the Chaplin if he was breathing and he said he had been wondering that himself we checked him and he was gone. Life is so fleeting. I am going to try sewing again in the morning if i can get my head together. I think your blocks will be interesting.pattiespeahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04065065185072198496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13569819.post-83018109625792509132019-09-19T18:11:32.866-04:002019-09-19T18:11:32.866-04:00I only wish cooler days were here...still in the 9...I only wish cooler days were here...still in the 90's during the day.
