In searching for information on the Singer 99K, which I just inherited from my husbands grandmother, I am trying to determine if I can use the machine for free motion quilting. I know that I will need to cover or remove the feed dogs and will need a quilter/darner/embroidery foot for it also, but do you know specifically if this machine does this function well? Have you tried it with yours? Thanks so much for any help or just a simple yes or no would be GREAT! Thanks!Marci Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06936012994391674307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13569819.post-47824567833113634612012-12-21T01:19:50.016-05:002012-12-21T01:19:50.016-05:00Sorry to say I missed quilt cam tonight I am 3 hou...Sorry to say I missed quilt cam tonight I am 3 hours behind so 6pm here to your 9 pm. They sounded like they were talking about a dear friend who was a lot of fun to know. Very accurate! Just finished giving my little grandson's quilt a clip job and got all the threads off from the machine quilting-now to just finish the binding and it can be wrapped! Older grandson came over today and was working on doing a family tree. So, his tree went from 3 generations to six while I sewed blocks for Texas Tumbleweed-I refuse to let that be a UFO! It's Turquoise with a red logo and dial with ivory trim. It looks like a 1950s hot rod and after giving it tons of oil it purrs. It is in near mint condition, has a ton of presser feet that are still wrapped in Brother Imperial of Japan marked paper, and has its original sales hang tag. It was marketed by Western Auto but built by Brother. <br />I have been using Groove Shark instead of Pandora and like it a lot. Thanks for Quiltcam.
