I use a size 7 hook with DMC size 8 pearl cotton thread. It comes in lots of dreamy colors and is easy to work with. A local quilt shop sells for big stitch quilting. I prefer size 12 for red work embroidery instead of floss.
I had not thought of a magic circle so will be trying that this evening.
Dorothy Mathesonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12353546725820007288noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13569819.post-91047765512414898872013-08-18T13:09:14.548-04:002013-08-18T13:09:14.548-04:00Hi, I have seen mnay like it but It is best of all...Hi, I have seen mnay like it but It is best of all thanks for the sharing and just keep up the good work.

Online EarnEmma Watsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09560081752024976464noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13569819.post-26561390099740388862013-08-18T10:55:41.113-04:002013-08-18T10:55:41.113-04:00I wonder how many people know the reasoning for ev...I wonder how many people know the reasoning for even having the felt/doily.
Like the spool caps on newer machines it helps create friction to keep the thread spooling freely but not too fast. Think I have that down now but I too wondered about the size hook (one video said 5) and what weight yarn she is using. I can't get the hook (no pun intended) up with her email to work on my computer for whatever reason. So Carol, if you are out there could you give us those 2 pieces of information. This is so generous of you for sharing!!Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04903604459098442693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13569819.post-32668330645317358322013-08-18T08:13:45.279-04:002013-08-18T08:13:45.279-04:00Thanks, Carol for your generosity and thank you, B...Thanks, Carol for your generosity and thank you, Bonnie for posting it for us!Dottiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00946826170058620651noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13569819.post-87398677922883483562013-08-18T07:42:19.124-04:002013-08-18T07:42:19.124-04:00So kind of Carol to share her pattern.
