We always wish for a mini-van again when we make trips. It will be nice to have 2 vehicles at the cabin anyway.

Two retreats coming up . . what fun!

I hope you have a wonderful, relaxing week at the cabin.

Judy L.Grannyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10720927550545452529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13569819.post-1134667821989643862005-12-15T12:30:00.000-05:002005-12-15T12:30:00.000-05:00Oh Bonnie - can't say I've ever be "awake" at that...Oh Bonnie - can't say I've ever be "awake" at that time of the day! But about 11:00pm I have been. But my best sleeping time seems to be between 2am-8am! Of course I have to get up at 4:30am so maybe that is why!!! :)

Oh I love old movies also. I LOVE the king and I and actually got to see Yul Brenner play the Kind on stage in Chicago - it was AWESOME! My girls get such a kick out of Please don't eat the daisies!

One of my all time favorites is Gone with the Wind! My middle daughter jsut pulled it out last night to take to school today - they are watching it in history!

Wow - what a great list you have, there are tons I"ve never heard of, ohhh, now I want to watch old movies.

I just saw Pride and Predjudice last weekend, so now I want to see the other versions of that. I actually want to get the book on tape - never read the book.Quilts And Pieceshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02043640520513261597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13569819.post-1134666670030525282005-12-15T12:11:00.000-05:002005-12-15T12:11:00.000-05:00Morning Bonnie, sorry about your early morning wak...Morning Bonnie, sorry about your early morning wakeup..I got one also..in the form of the "beep, beep, beef" as the plowing trucks tackled the over night snow. We are at 6+ inches and it's still snowing. Got back to sleep after that til the neighbors across the road in the town houses began to have a "discussion" about who shoveled and who didn't...LOL
Oh well..might as well be up now.

All the hand work and books on tape sounds like the perfect take along. Not so much to pack as the machine.
I, too, love the old movies, but what a good idea to put them on DVD's for you guys. Love it..and oddly enough I've seen most of your list...LOL..but way back when they were in the theaters..*S* There are some good ones there. I especially love "I Remember Mama", and "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir"...sorry, they aren't on your list this time.
If a retreat ever gets organized for us Mavericks, count me in!! *VBG* Wouldn't that be fun???Finnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17677133672404343036noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13569819.post-1134650000513013592005-12-15T07:33:00.000-05:002005-12-15T07:33:00.000-05:00Bonnie, I'm sorry that you were awake so early...a...Bonnie, I'm sorry that you were awake so early...a nap will feel good later.
